I got Wagyu meat a while ago. It came with filet, loin, porterhouse steak and bone in the package.The Wagyu meat is beautifully tender and can be grilled very well on the gas grill. Hans also showed us the entire farm and you can tell that animal welfare is very important to them.I'm already looking forward to the Christmas salami.

We stayed at the holiday farm for 1 week as a family (2 adults plus 2 children). Arrival and occupancy of the rooms were uncomplicated. We had the Fraueninsel holiday apartment. Perfectly adequate. You have space.The hosts were great! Children could help feed the animals. :) The meat from Waygu cattle is great. You can buy it directly there.Close to Lake Chiemsee.We will definitely come back again at some point. :)

Unfortunately, if you have children, this has nothing to do with a holiday on the farm.The description on the website does not match.This was only conveyed to us when we handed over the keys, which was really a shock.When we arrived in the apartments (we had rented two apartments) there was no bed linen and we also had to wipe it down because it was very dirty, for example hair in the shower probably from the previous person. The floors creak so loudly that you wake up in the night.A TV in the hallway with an armchair doesn't make sense for a family either, the second one in the kitchen doesn't make it any better.Unfortunately, the playground in front of the house has also had its day.Therefore, I cannot recommend families for a holiday on the farm.

We didn't think the difference between Wagyu and Wagyu/Simmental would be so clear. Pure Wagyu is even more tender.The fine veins of fat in the rib eye steak make the meat particularly juicy and ensure an unforgettable taste experience.Rib eye (American cut) is basically the same as an entrecôte (French cut)

I was at the Möderlhof with my husband and my 2 daughters between Christmas and New Year 2021. We wanted to have a nice few days thereSpend on the farm, as promised on the homepage.Our holiday apartment was really nice, unfortunately you could still see the traces of being “not rented” for months (according to our own statement, the apartments had not been rented for a long time). When we arrived it was icy cold and partly dusty, not to mention the fireplace that hadn't been cleaned. Another negative point is that we didn't have enough hot water to shower in the evening or morning.Much worse for us and our children, however, was the lack of a farm feeling.It is promised that you will...Feeding and mucking out the cows can help. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We hardly met anyone and when we did, it was the horse girls who immediately told you that you weren't allowed to call, touch or lure the horses. Apart from looking at the horses from 2 meters away, there was nothing there. When we asked when we could feed the cows, we were told we would hear it and then come out... but since we don't wait all day in the holiday apartment for the cows to be fed, we unfortunately weren't allowed to do that either. The small petting animals such as rabbits and the like were nowhere in sight. This fact is also a bitter disappointment for our daughters.All in all, we felt more like intruders on the farm. You hardly met anyone and if you did, as already mentioned, you were warned not to go near the animals... especially the horses.This review is not intended to portray anyone poorly, I just want to warn other families not to believe the promises of the internet and book a farm holiday naively. Apparently a generational change has taken place and the farm will not continue to operate as before, although the website has not yet been adapted.

We spent 10 wonderful days on vacation at the Möderlhof. Lake Chiemsee and the surrounding area have a lot to offer. The apartment was nicely furnished and well equipped. We will miss the daily view of the Alps from our balcony.
