Had a wonderfully relaxing week with the Grünberger family at the Stockerhof in Burgham am Chiemsee. The location of the farm is ideal for cycling around the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The yard with the outdoor area is very nice. What we really liked 👍 was the very beautiful, lovingly furnished barbecue hut. It could also be in a museum village. The rooms and everything are very clean. We felt very comfortable with the Grünberger family. In my opinion, the Stockerhof is a paradise for children who love animals and, above all, 🐎. We'll definitely be back!!

A very nice yard. Very friendly hosts. If we arrived mega late, it wasn't a problem. Everyone was very warm and open. We were allowed to go into the stable and explore everything. Very neat and tidy everything. A paradise for children and stressed parents. View of the lake and after a short walk you are at a swimming area. We'll try to come back.

If only I had listened to my gut feeling: I had already missed the Bavarian friendliness in the phone calls before my arrival. As soon as I arrived it became clear that my gut feeling had not let me down.When we arrived, the staff at the horse stable sent me around the farm: first into the hands of the host who was busy at the time. There was no greeting: just a note that I should ring the bell.The hostess briefly showed us the apartment and when we asked about the courtyard: “yes, you can go have a look there”. No offer to run the farm a bit, tell us something about life on the farm, etc.! That's exactly why we booked! We were very disappointed and left the next morning.

We spent a very nice holiday at the Stockerhof. The Grünberger family is super friendly and helpful. Our daughter (4 years old) was allowed to feed goats, pet cats and rabbits and sit on a horse. The location is great and you can go on many excursions from there. The rooms are a bit old, but they were tidy and, above all, clean!

Thank you for the lovely stay! The Grünberger family is very personable and is always available to give advice and support. Our daughter was allowed to jump on the trampoline (my husband Julian too ;), pet and feed goats, horses and cats, get her first horse riding experience for free, use the playground at any time, etc. The nearby Chiemsee offers various, very different bathing areas, so that everyone can find what they are looking for here. We would love to come back :)
