A wonderfully located guest house with very nice and accommodating hosts. The jetty can be reached on foot across the meadow, and the view of the lake and mountains from the house is unique. Rooms and breakfast are perfect. There is also a coffee machine for guests to self-service during the day as well as a guest refrigerator with a fine selection of drinks. There is a very good restaurant right opposite. The path around the lake goes directly past the house. All in all, the perfect accommodation for a holiday on Lake Chiemsee!

Gästenhaus Niggelhof is beautifully located with an astonishing view of the Chimsee and the surrounding hills of Southern Germany. The location is only a short walk away from the lake and the view of the green hills and the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. Out hostess, Astrid, is very friendly, accommodating and speaks English very well. They also offer sup boards and kayaks for rent at a great price. Whilst the bathroom and toilet were shared, they were super clean and it was absolutely no problem. The room itself had its own sink and was very comfortable, with a nice big bed and a balcony. In the mornings, Astrid provided a delicious and plentiful breakfast (and she accounts for dietary restrictions), which could be served at a time of your own liking. If we are ever in the region again, we would not have to think twice about staying here, highly recommend!

The host Astrid and her family are super friendly and helpful.The house itself radiates friendliness and security.An example The toilet and shower are in the hallway (shared) I felt so comfortable that I actually went to the toilet at night in just my T-shirt...🙈 I had forgotten that I wasn't at home due to this family atmosphere...It should be so.The room was typically furnished in a country house style and had everything you needed. Plus a sink .😉There were also dishes and a kettle.If you forgot something you could find it in the bathroom. Various bathroom items such as shampoo and shower gel, toothpaste/brush available.The house is very clean, which I found very pleasant.Parking spaces at the house.Price performance ratio very much in favor of the guest. You can book breakfast if you want.THANKSDear Astrid and the whole family, you have greatly enriched my stay at Chiemsee. I look forward to seeing you again soon.Vanessa

Beautiful view of the mountains and lake and a warm host. The room is immaculately Bavarian and the room where the rich breakfast is served is cozy. Even rainy summer days can be endured well. For your nightly chocolate cravings, there is a good selection in the small kiosk. The excellent LAN allows freelancers to work and not miss the new episodes of Game of Thrones. I'll definitely come back.
