Both the Schneider couple and their room cleaning staff made me feel every day that I shouldn't lack for anything in the house, both at breakfast and every morning after when I entered my perfectly tidy room. The dinner that was offered, which I didn't have the opportunity to eat, also sounded very tasty. Overall, the house makes a very friendly impression inside and out. I will come back.

A well-stocked house with an eye for detail (reading glasses are available for the drinks list and shower gel in the shower by the pool, which is accessible to guests). The rooms are well furnished and are cleaned very thoroughly every day. The predominantly home-baked cake, offered in the afternoon for a small fee, is a real hit. The breakfast egg is freshly prepared for everyone. The innkeepers are very friendly. WiFi works well.All of this, located in this wonderful landscape, made our stay very pleasant.

We felt very comfortable during our 14 day stay in August. The house is clean, familiar and cozy, the hosts are very friendly and open-minded. In the afternoon there are delicious home-baked cakes with coffee, and in the evening, if you like, you can get a variety of cold or warm things from the "small menu". We always enjoyed the daily meal, simply good home cooking, cooked by the host family themselves. The selection of drinks, which you have access to at any time, is wide-ranging.We were also very well advised with excursion and hiking suggestions.The indoor pool is enough if you don't want to swim long distances. You can let off steam with table tennis, table football and ergometers. Everything was very uncomplicated and good.A big thank you to the Schneider family.We are happy to recommend Guesthouse Christine and look forward to our next stay there.

According to the reviews here, people are generally satisfied and the house seems to be recommended. Since I wanted to find out more about the prices, I looked at the corresponding website. I don't feel very comfortable there at first. The price list is very well - let's say - detailed with the so-called low season, which is freely interpreted by the host. It's off season 3 (or was it 4?) times a year...well. In practice, it is only rented cheaper at times when there seems to be nothing going on. You can do it. But does the double room cost? It says 54 euros per person per night. But if I want to rent the double room alone, it costs 70 euros. So not 54 euros. So it seems as if the double room only costs 54 euros per person for 2 people... then doesn't the double room actually cost 108 euros? Hm…It's legitimate that the host wants to make money, but why so complicated?When on the page with the prices the vernacular “It’s just like that” is quoted, I understood that I shouldn’t discuss prices. Somehow I don't feel so welcome anymore...If only I had called...(3 stars because neutral. I wasn't there.)

Rarely have I felt so welcome as a guest.I spent a total of two weeks in the Christine guesthouse and I have to thank you again. It was an absolutely warm atmosphere and I immediately felt at home. Very accommodating and friendly. If I'm ever back in Allgäu, I'll definitely come back.Thank you again

for a double room without a TV, a sagging mattress and having to go to the basement to shower, just too expensive...
