If a restaurant is closed, it's usually a good idea to say so on the signs! I think it's outrageous to make hikers take a detour to eat or drink there, only to find out that it's closed.

It's cheap 45€ per night per person even with breakfast, we just drove around the area and looked for a room and found it, thanks again to the family, it was a very nice weekend, I'll be happy to come back

Simple and clean rooms. Very comfortable mattresses. The Döring family is very friendly and dogs are welcome there. Breakfast with eggs and various toppings was very good and the coffee was nice and strong. Good recommendation for those who don't need luxury.

Simple, clean and functional. Free WiFi, good breakfast, quiet location. Nice starting point for hiking. Cable car tickets included. Hosts are a bit reserved. A few kind words at breakfast and maybe a tip or two wouldn't be bad. Will definitely come back.

Very unfriendly landlady. Asked in advance whether there were any other guests there. This was answered in the affirmative. I was the only guest for the 2 days. Breakfast at the table. Very clear. Didn't ask for egg and juice. I wasn't told in advance that the cafe was closed. So no dinner either. You couldn't pay with EC either. Everything could have been written on the homepage. Since the guesthouse is very out of the way, you are dependent on a car. Information about bus timetables - none.

The owners are unfriendly, you don't feel comfortable there, you have the feeling that you're lucky to have found somewhere to stay overnight. The breakfast is very simple, for the price..., no glass of juice or an egg...., disappointing!We have never experienced anything like this in beautiful Allgäu!

Good location but no free WiFi.There is no buffet at breakfast, breakfast is served at the table by the owner.The guesthouse is located above Breittachstrasse and is very busy, especially in the early hours of the morning, which is annoying if the room faces the street. Owners are friendly but reserved. If you would like information about tours, you should contact the tourist information officeIn Oberstdorf. When I was on holiday there were mainly older people aged 60 and over in the pension.
