We really enjoyed a weekend in Venlo, partly thanks to this BnB in the shopping area. A nice spacious room with a good bed. A cozy terrace downstairs for breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff. Definitely worth repeating.

Perfectly located apartment in the center of Venlo. Modern industrial decor, comfortable beds and a wonderful shower. All amenities within walking distance, beautiful views. Wonderful place to experience city life. The digital TV also leaves nothing to be desired!

We couldn't check in until after 3 p.m. The room itself was nice, but not really clean. The door to the balcony was extremely dirty! Coffee machine with 2 capsules, but there was no cup, just a single small glass. No possibility to get something to drink (after 7 p.m.), refrigerator in the room, which was a kind of minibar, but completely empty. The biggest disappointment came the next morning, when after we had breakfast we were confronted with a price of €26.50, even though the breakfast price was €7.50 per person. is advertised! We also mentioned this, whereupon we were told that it was a misunderstanding. The waitress with brown hair was very friendly, unfortunately everyone else was less so.That was our first and last visit there.

After an hour of walking, I thought I would have a beer on the terrace...Where has that Limburg conviviality gone from the past?Staff passes you by, if you speak to a lady after tens of minutes (That blonde, grumpy daughter...) then she doesn't come at all... In the end I can order my beer from another lady (by the way... why is everyone talking German there??) After more than an hour I could continue shopping...And so no more beer here.

We actually wanted to order coffee and cake for €5 as advertised on the advertising poster. We were then told 4 or 5 different cakes and when we ordered the bee sting (see picture) she said it would cost €1 extra so we only ordered it once. A water and a Coke Zero.According to the picture, you can decide for yourself whether this is a bee sting or not.Great seating in front of the restaurant. The waitress was hard-working but not very friendly, which is something else I know from Holland.
