I was there at the beginning of the month and was very satisfied.Check-in was very relaxed and the stay was uncomplicated. The breakfast was rich.I felt very comfortable in the restaurant and was able to eat well. However, for me it is absolutely unacceptable that the air extractor filter in the bathroom has apparently been full for a very long time and has not been changed. The service person MUST hear something like that because the fan was so loud that you could hear it in the hallway through closed doors. Absolutely disgusting.

The rooms are simple but very clean. The breakfast and food in the restaurant correspond to the price. I spent 3 days there and was very satisfied.

Nice hotel on the edge of the Wiehengebirge. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Quiet location. The rooms are functional. In fact, it used to be a youth hostel and/or conference center. We book here regularly. Price performance absolutely fine. Recommendation: Book early as it is often fully booked.

I spent a weekend in the Wiehen-Therme and overall I was very satisfied. The price-performance ratio was completely fine. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced at 8 euros per person. I particularly liked the spacious sauna area, which also includes an outdoor pool called a plunge pool. There are four different saunas, an indoor pool and a practice that offers massages and other treatments. Overall the stay was very relaxing. The surrounding area is also beautiful and invites you to go for walks and hikes. So if you want to take a break in nature and enjoy wellness at the same time, this is the right place for you.

I'm traveling for work and spent 2 nights here. But I was thinking about leaving early. In my opinion it is not as beautiful as in the pictures (anymore). It's really difficult for me to write a review because I'm torn.Maybe let's start with the good things:The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff are top. In the area it seems to be a well-respected and popular house, which is often used for parties and celebrations. In fact, I couldn't help but overhear a consultation during my dinner. This was really emotional, emphatic and relaxed. The food tastes wonderful. The breakfast buffet is also great and rich.Parking spaces are available, but those directly in front of the door are always full. There is a large parking lot further down the slope. If you have a lot of luggage, the hillside location is rather unfavorable. You can park your car briefly at the top of the hotel, but then you have to move it again. This is an annoying process.I didn't like my accommodation at all, I complained about this at the beginning, but they couldn't offer a replacement room because the hotel was fully booked. So I was accommodated in the basement; there is an outdated elevator. It smelled musty and the room was a dark place. The floor began at the height of the window, and then a view of the next building opposite. The view would have been so beautiful. On the first evening, the musty smell didn't leave the room, the blanket had several holes in it and I didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. It wasn't that it was dirty, but there was something unsightly about it. Maybe it was just the overall impression of the creepy room that influenced me.Overall it was clean.I tried a few times to find out more information about the sauna, but the reception is permanently unmanned. Of course you can ring the bell for the staff but it feels like you're disturbing them. Whenever you ring the bell, someone from the restaurants comes over and kindly takes care of the guests' concerns and then disappears back into the restaurants.I really think that a receptionist belongs here and that there should be no double burden on employees.I didn't look at the sauna. At this point my overall impression was already too tense to explore further rooms.Summary: I thought it was good and bad at the same time. But I wouldn't visit the hotel again to stay overnight.Definitely go out to eat.

The Wiehen-Therme is an absolute insider tip! As soon as you enter, you feel transported to a world of peace and serenity. The complex is beautifully designed, with a harmonious mix of modern elements and nature. I particularly liked the spacious sauna area with different saunas, each of which has its own charm. The panoramic infusion in the outdoor sauna was a real highlight – a pleasure for all the senses! The swimming pool is also well maintained and offers something for everyone, be it the large swimming area or the relaxing whirlpools. The atmosphere is always pleasantly calm and there is enough space to switch off and enjoy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness of the entire facility - simply impeccable! If you want to treat yourself to a break from everyday life, this is the right place for you. I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the Wiehen-Therme!

By chance, I didn't stay overnight at the Wiehen-Therme Hotel as planned. Despite the fact that this circumstance was of a purely personal nature, I was given uncomplicated help in an incredibly friendly and understanding manner. Thank you very much for that, next time I'll be happy to stay overnight :)

Staff very friendly and attentive.Location of the hotel is ok. It's a real shame that there isn't even the opportunity to enjoy the view on the small restaurant balcony or even on a roof or something similar. The walk to the room is reminiscent of a youth hostel... we were accommodated in the "basement" and when I compare the room with the advertised pictures, there is a world of difference. This “floor” was definitely left out when taking photos…It's very noisy, so you can hear a lot from your immediate neighbors. The breakfast was great, there was even salmon.Would we book the hotel again? We would probably try somewhere else first…

Room 103 is more than just showing its age. Not 4 stars and not clean. You look out the window up to your waist below the sidewalk, a view of a wall and, when it rains, a loud waterfall from the gutter. Sorry but the worst and smallest room for €71 a night in a long time.
