The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Short walk to the city. The food was extremely good, lots of toilets and a pleasant meal.

There are only two toilets for everyone on each floor. The cleanliness is not only a problem in the shower area but also in the rooms. The breakfast was okay, but the lunch and dinner were not the best and unseasoned.

A room of 6 without running water, despite having 2 sinks, certainly doesn't matter to students, but as an adult you don't necessarily want to brush your teeth and shave at the sink in the toilet. That was annoying because it was apparently known. I would have expected or asked for a discount at the hotel. I hope it's fixed by next year.🤔

I don't normally go to youth hostels. Was very surprised by the level. Very modern hostel. Very clean. Showers seemed new. Friendly staff. Food was very good.It's a 10 minute walk to the old town.I can only recommend it.

What is that, there are nice pets in the room such as ants, some beetles, mosquitoes and butterflies. You can see through the gentlemen on the second floor in a shower?? The food is also miserable and not edible.0/10 not recommended.

Great location, just a few minutes into the old town.We had a family room with a bathroom. It was very spacious and everything was clean.There was also something for us all at breakfast.

From yesterday to today we were there with 2 school classes. Everything was top notch, from the staff to the rooms to the delicious food. We felt very comfortable.

Charming old building with beautiful rooms, the bathroom in our twin room was also clean and functional. Very friendly staff, top location, close to the old town and beautiful views. Regarding the food, we can only comment on the breakfast, but it was perfect, fresh products and enough choice. We'd love to come back. 😊

Solid location. Food lower level. Salad fresh but has never seen a knife.Showers in a shared bathroom cannot be locked and there is no anteroom. Showering at night isn't possible either, the light goes off automatically and you're left in the dark. Room was small and old/run down. The door was in a terrible condition and a hinge was completely torn out of the door frame.Quite a few uninvited pets on the go, ants and spiders were the most popular.However, ant bait was quickly put down

I don't know where to start.The food was absolutely miserable with the exception of 1-2 times. I'm also afraid that I'll get salmonella because the chicken here was served raw and pink. There were also 1-2 friendly staff members but that's where it ends again. Furthermore, not enough was cooked for everyone, and those further back in the line sometimes didn't get anything to eat.Privacy was also a priority in the showers; they were neither lockable nor was there an anteroom. You had to take off your clothes in the middle of the toilet and put your things there. It just wasn't a good feeling. It wasn't possible to shower when it was dark because the motion detector didn't detect it and then it was suddenly dark.The condition of the rooms was anything but good, the floor was still sticky from previous visitors. The cabinet hinges were broken and one of the sinks didn't work either. There were also nice pets like ants in the room.The only positive thing to mention here is the central location. Only 10 minutes walk to the city center.

We were a group of 60 people in the youth hostel over Easter. Friendly staff and good food. On foot you can be in the center or in the countryside in just a few minutes.

Never go to this youth hostel where there was more fat than meat and there were only two toilets and showers on each floorWhen taking a shower you could see through it so there was no privacy

We chose the youth hostel as accommodation for our short trip to Schwäbisch Hall in October 2023. The room was clean and well-kept and the small bathroom and shower also met our expectations of the DJH standard. The staff were very courteous and friendly and were always open to questions. Parking spaces are available at the house. The best way to get to the old town is on foot. But be careful, as beautiful as the path down the steep road is, the way back uphill is even more strenuous. Especially with a stroller. Since we strolled through the city rather haphazardly, I can only recommend making a plan in advance of what you want to see and, if necessary, what is open. We can only recommend the youth hostel.

For our purposes, a perfect place to stay with a surprisingly good breakfast, very comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms. Everything was clean, the employees were very friendly.
