We were there 3 nights. 😏 As for the room, mmmh beds/blankets clammy, damp, heating on for a few hours with luck. Window could be opened but not closed properly. Every morning the window was completely wet and the water ran down. Some mold on the fabric bed, otherwise nice, very comfortable. BUT the bathroom (motorhome shower/toilet - a NO GO for me personally). And the second room under the roof has a toilet/shower in the room. Large window broken. Mini windows 4 in number can only be opened a little. Then there is a lot stored in this room (books and paintings)We understand that a villa like this needs to be maintained, but you should heat and ventilate to avoid mold. And you should also do something about the somewhat musty smell. Even such a beautiful old villa can smell good.😘The hosts were very, very warm and so kind. Breakfast everything you need and very familiar. Huge garden with pool, certainly great in summer.

The hosts are both very friendly and the delicious breakfast is freshly cooked on site every day. Our room was comfortable and quiet with a good view (room 1. From Africa). You can also find parking on the street...

A very nice and warm hostess. Thanks Anett! Our room was fine, the bathroom was very large and recently renovated, but not completely clean and there was mold. The house is an old villa, very pretty with a huge garden. There is plenty of free street parking. The breakfast was ok, very familiar, but not high quality. The rolls were from a discount store. We will definitely come back again.

We are really upset with these landlords. We had already booked this accommodation for five days during the summer holidays in January as a gift for our daughter for her high school graduation. Now, almost two months before arrival, we were informed that unfortunately they cannot offer us this accommodation. We booked via Booking COM. I've heard that this often seems to be a problem during the holidays, when landlords find that they can sell their accommodation for more than what is offered on Booking COM.But I think that definitely doesn't speak for the landlords. What still counts for me is that if I have made an agreement with someone else, I stick to it. How are we supposed to find accommodation with a pool for five people just a few weeks before the holidays?Landlords probably like to use Booking COM as a platform so that their accommodation can be found for those of us looking for it and so they can make the best possible use of their accommodation. Since the terms and conditions for landlords at Booking COM are quite vague, you can still cancel a booking at short notice without apparently incurring any costs. This way, if someone suddenly offers a higher price, you can easily get out of the contract! So I warn you about booking with Booking COM, but also about this landlord who doesn't seem to like sticking to agreements.

Pro: Great landlord couple who speak Dutch, German and English. Super friendly and want you to feel comfortable. Overall, a very nice house. Rooms are clean and large. There is WiFi, free parking (also in front of the house), free tea and coffee in the hallway. And large TV with German channels too. It's nice that each room also has its own bathroom. (Some large, others very small). And the bed is nice and big. You can also freely use the garden, which is beautiful and large with plenty of seating. In summer there is also use of the pool. Breakfast was also classic like at home, with light bread rolls in crispy or soft. Sausage, cheese, jam, butter, nut spreads, peanut butter and of course eggs that are freshly cooked on request (soft/hard), scrambled eggs, fried eggs. There is coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. And of course sugar sprinkles. And you can easily pay by EC on the day of departure. Perfect as a bed & breakfast and super close to Venlo at a great price. / Cons: The bed was a bit sagging on one side. OK for 1-2 next ones, but not ideal for longer. The bathroom in ours. The bathroom was very small. More like a mobile home bathroom, which was installed here. It's enough for a quick shower, brushing your teeth and using the toilet. Just pay attention to the pictures here. 2 rooms without a photo of the bathroom have this small bathroom solution. And unfortunately you couldn't open the window. Conclusion: The pros outweigh the pros here and for the price and the warmth, we can only recommend it.

We booked 2 rooms with breakfast on February 12, 2024, then almost a month later you hear that it cannot go ahead, without mercy, without explanation. Now let's see what else we can find for Easter! …
