Update:We were here again after 2 years for our friends meeting.Everything was as great as the first visit 2 years ago.Thank you for your warm welcome and for having a great time with you againwere allowed to have.Best regardsWolfram, Evelin andFriends !!!We spent a very nice time at Haus Georgenhöhe in a larger group, including children and 2 dogs. We received a very friendly welcome and were treated very kindly until we left. The entire house is very clean and well equipped. There was nothing missing in the large kitchen on the ground floor and we didn't miss anything else either. There is also no shortage of excursion options in the area. Overall we had 2 great days with our friends and family.We'd love to come back!

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate a birthday and couldn't have chosen a better place! The accommodation offers enough space for everyone, everyone has their own retreat and yet the living room and winter garden are the perfect place to come together. The kitchen is ideally equipped for large groups and the handover and communication also went smoothly!All in all a very wonderful stay, we felt very comfortable! We can only recommend it 😊

We came with about 20 people and there were several families with children. We received a super warm welcome. Dear Berna was always open to questions or suggestions. We felt really comfortable because we really had a lot of space. The kitchen was super equipped. There was plenty of entertainment on site for the children. You can tell that there is a lot of love in this house. We will definitely come back.

We were only guests for one night because we had decided on a day trip at short notice! From booking (1 day in advance) to departure, everything went smoothly. We were 2 adults, 1 dog and stayed in the apartment, which was completely adequately equipped!The operators were happy to have a little chat and answer any questions, and they were also very nice! If we end up in the region again, it would be worth a visit again! Thanks

Top accommodation, 16 people were there for a bachelor party. Nothing was missing. The beds were extremely comfortable and the landlords are very friendly.We were able to party until 6am.Can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Very comfortable for 12 people. Sauna, pool and sports equipment were not used.Luckily, the only thing missing is a fan, at least for the main room.

This accommodation is great for all ages. The equipment and furniture are great and you can prepare many dishes for large groups even in the kitchen. We just felt right at home with you and will definitely come back. Under no circumstances can I agree with negative reviews. The hosts are very warm and fulfilled all of our wishes.

We were on vacation here with 16 people and 3 children for 9 days. We received a very warm welcome. There is a very familiar atmosphere and animal welfare is very important here. You don't just feel like a paying customer. The house has a fantastic location with a beautiful view. I didn't miss anything in terms of equipment. Travel time for shopping and excursions to sights is 30-60 minutes. That seems reasonable to me with so much nature. We took away a lot of beautiful experiences and went home with both a crying and a laughing eye. But one thing is certain. WE WILL BE BACK. ;)

We stayed in this house for 1 week with a group of 16 people and 3 children aged 6 months, 3 and 5 years and can only say that we have no complaints about the facilities. The hosts are warm and you immediately feel like you are in good hands. They are always helpful and open to all questions. We as a group cannot agree with the previous negative reviews in any way. You should always keep in mind that the furnishings are a matter of taste and, in our opinion, are modern and well-kept. We're always happy to come back and just say: keep it up!Finally, it should also be noted that the family is very committed to saving the animals.

We had booked the holiday home for a family celebration with around ten people. The holiday home is from the sixties. The wooden windows needed a coat of paint a long time ago. The furniture was ancient. The chairs in the dining room creaked with every movement. You couldn't lock the rooms either. This is important because the holiday home can be rented by several people at the same time.The bathroom and shower are also ancient. I don't understand why you can't even renovate it after 30 years. I felt very uncomfortable for the two days and can't recommend the holiday home.

Very well equipped, perfect for large groups. We were on a family vacation with 13 people for a weekend. Living/dining room with space for everyone. Beautiful winter garden and sun terrace.Very nice landlord. Nice cafe opposite. Hiking trails all around. Restaurants within walking distance. 19 Lachter Stollen approx. 30 minutes. Hike.

A weekend vacationWe visited Haus Georgenhöhe with the whole family. From the room facilities, the cleanliness, the beautiful view to the very friendly, familiar and extremely animal-loving contacts, the holiday was simply perfect!The house is also close to a beautiful lake with a waterfall, a toboggan run, a tunnel and a stalactite cave, so you can enjoy a wonderful time there!All in all, the house with its very good price-performance ratio can definitely be recommended for larger groups of people!Thank you very much again!

Spontaneous visit to Wildemann without having to look for accommodation before departure... and there was also Oktoberfest in the town obviously my gut feeling led me to the Hotel “Georgenhöhe”. I received a very warm welcome there and shared my concerns about accommodation. My “need” was quickly recognized and the idea immediately and easily came up that I could be given the opportunity to stay overnight in a holiday apartment in the “Georgenhöhe” house that was a little higher up. No sooner said than done...I realized that this was more than I could have expected, since I was actually just looking for a bed and a roof over my head. At this point, thank you very much again for this (dear Berna and also a thank you to your dad)...I will be happy to come back and maybe even check into the hotel. Thank you very much for the delicious “organic apples” that I had as food for my return journey and also as a souvenir. Sven sends greetings to the Harz from the Odenwald
