I booked the guesthouse for a weekend. When I arrived I was really overwhelmed by the facilities. Tip top clean and of the finest quality. The room is great, the bathroom... you won't be able to spit and the kitchen/living room... great. I don't have anything like that at home. Very friendly landlord. Everything without any problems. And when you leave, the keys are ready in the mailbox. Cars are safely parked in the yard with an electronic gate. A little out of the way but not the least bit problematic. Always happy at any time. A 5.0 fully deserved!!!

We booked the apartment on November 20th for the period from December 31st to February 2nd and as requested, paid the money two weeks in advance. Today we receive an email from the nice lady that the apartment has been rented to someone else because we have not finally agreed to what we have done. We told the lady that we would take the apartment and that she should please tell us how much we should pay and whether a deposit would be desired in advance. We then received an offer saying that we would like to pay half the deposit two weeks before arrival and the rest on departure. The apartment would be available to us from 10 a.m. on the day of our arrival. We then paid the entire amount on time and have now received a rejection on the grounds that we had not responded to your offer. There was never any mention of that. The email with the offer we requested only stated the matter of the deposit and that the apartment would be available to us from 10 a.m. Not that we have to confirm this offer again, which we clearly requested. It was clear to us, since we told her that we were taking the apartment, that everything would be sorted out. The lady did not ask again at any later date whether the booking was confirmed? She simply assumed that since we didn't say "YES" again that we didn't want the apartment after all. She didn't know that we laid out and planned our entire stay between November 20th and now based on your email and that the apartment would be ready for us from 10 a.m. In the future, the deposit should perhaps be made straight away and not just 2 weeks in advance, with the caveat that you could cancel up to two weeks in advance. And perhaps you should mention in your offer email that you should then confirm this again. Impossible. As an apology for the inconvenience she wanted to put us in a guesthouse. I won't rent an apartment if I could also stay in a guesthouse. We are traveling with a small child and a dog, so there are reasons why we are renting an apartment. We are extremely disappointed and will definitely not book here again.
