Were there after changing operator and can only recommend spending a few nice days here to relax. It has a wonderful atmosphere, very nice service, comfortable, modern rooms, a wide variety of breakfast options and super nice operators, it is ideal for bikers, hikers and families (very child-friendly)We would love to come back, thank you for the great time.

I spent a night there a few years ago. It was creepy like an old Edgar Wallace movie. An unfriendly landlady. I was called out of the very special basement sauna because my dachshund was supposedly barking in the room charm of the early seventies... in the pouring storm and rain I had to get him into my car and then go into the sauna again wearing only a towel... I was watched critically by the landlady's living room... The night was a nightmare.. noisy guest workers in the room above me disturbed my sleep in the unprepossessible bed.. I was happy when the next morning came.. The landlady then made a positive impression on me with an extravagant breakfast, I paid and then I recovered quite well in another holiday apartment. Conclusion: there are always things in life where you are glad that they are over.

We were there on New Year's Eve and everything was good. Rooms also good.A very good starting point for hikes in beautiful nature.

Good price/performance ratio. The room is conveniently furnished for a short vacation, the location is very quiet and ideal as a starting point for hikes directly around Wildemann or in Clausthal, Osterode or Goslar. Everything is easy to reach. If you have some time for breakfast, you can get fresh eggs on request and you can take hiking provisions with you. Good for switching off.

Anyone looking for peace and quiet will find it here, at least during the week.Lovely area for hiking.The breakfast is hard to beat,even if it's not done entirely professionally.Of course, you have to wait a while for freshly prepared eggs.And if you take the time for vacation, that's probably not a problem.Friendliness and hospitality are still very important here.Some dissatisfied guests should reconsider their behavior.It's a shame that so much is broken in the Harz.The apparent renovation doesn't quite fit the area and has left some cosmetic repairs.

Well, I don’t know where the other “positive” reviews come from…🤔The accommodation was functional, very small room and the “bathroom” is not suitable for tall people. Everything is a bit outdated. Toilet had encrusted urine stone.When we asked the landlady questions, we felt like we were being disturbed. Also seemed a bit overloaded.Breakfast consisted of cold cuts, cheese, some salmon, all spread out on a plate and topped with fruit. Eggs were always made fresh and came to the table shortly before the end of breakfast.The baked rolls complemented the breakfast. You've had enough.

Very nice guesthouse. The rooms are very nice, it's cozy. The hostess is attentive and the breakfast is indescribably good. There is no wish left unfulfilled. Unfortunately, the drinks that you can still find in the fridge are significantly overpriced.

Friendly hostess who went out of her way to fulfill my wishes. The breakfast with a personal touch was particularly delicious. There is a small stream running directly in front of the guesthouse, very cozy. My room was functionally furnished and quite comfortable but by no means luxurious. This should be clear to the guest. After a 1-2 minute walk you are right in the forest, I liked that too. Almost no traffic, but if you're looking for nightlife and action, you're probably better off somewhere else.

We had booked 2 nights with breakfast, but only got breakfast once, instead we were sent to a kiosk for an agency fee of €20. The breakfast there was super good but it also cost €10 per person, we thought they would deduct this from our bill but that wasn't the case. I also booked 4 single rooms in January but only got 2 so I had to share a double room with my buddy, we didn't have to accept any reason. 2 days before we arrived I got a call and The hostess told me that if we didn't agree with that we could look for other accommodation, hello, how can that be done? We won't be going there again. So it's not recommended for me.
