The guest house “Sonne am Fluss” is truly a special location. We were there for a seminar lasting several days and were looking for a quiet but attractive guest house with 8 individual bedrooms including our own bathroom and found what we were looking for in Buntenbock. The rooms are artistically designed, some have several beds and small verandas on the river side, so you can start the day relaxed in the morning. There are just as many options for staying inside, but we took advantage of the beautiful September weather and held our seminar outdoors. What's particularly impressive is the spaciousness of the area, so that even with a lot of people you really have enough space to work together but also to retreat from time to time. In the evenings, the grill and fireplace invite you to get together with delicious food.Nature and the river offer the perfect atmosphere for concentrated work and relaxation afterwards. We found it particularly nice to watch the numerous squirrels gathering in the morning sun.The house is now getting old, but it continues to be maintained and cared for so that there are no restrictions. The contact with Mr. Westermann was particularly courteous and very personable; here we also received some tips for leisure activities and the background story of Buntenbock and the house itself. We felt completely comfortable, achieved all of our professional goals for the seminar and had a great time.

This house is ideal for larger groups (20-30 people)On the lower floor (approx. 20 people), each double room has a bathroom and on the upper floor there are 2 x 3 double rooms, each with a shared bathroom. The house, property and the area offer many opportunities for sports, games and leisure activities. Sensational! The highlight is the trout smoking by the owner, he does it on site, you can watch, get information and the fish taste really excellent, the game meat and sausages are also very tasty. We had very nice weather, everything took place outside and you can relax wonderfully there, but even in bad weather there is a large club room with a huge table, TV and seating area, space for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked, you have everything you need. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the friendly owner and his whole family

With our small group of 12 people, we need 4 double and 4 single rooms. All rooms should have their own bathroom/shower. Then we noticed this house in the Harz Mountains. …

Super-friendly house for large groups in the middle of idyllic greenery. There is even a small stream bubbling 2m right in front of the front door and the well-equipped garden invites you to campfires, baking in the clay oven and - best of all - sauna evenings in the sauna barrel for comfortably 6 people. Splendid!

great location, artistic idyll with barrel sauna, fireplace, clay oven, baking right in front of the house. Very suitable for family groups and choir groups. The kitchen is large, the rooms have individual bathrooms and are quiet.Surroundings are great for excursions.
