Certainly even more beautiful in summer. The campsite has good site organization with street names. Great with families, playground, mini golf and swimming lake. I wasn't that impressed with the dog park. For me the septic tanks should be cordoned off, when dogs are playing it seems difficult to keep them away. Please exercise caution with dogs who enjoy bathing. Otherwise cool idea!

Large campsite with excellent facilitiesToilet buildings are beautiful and fairly recent and are kept very clean.It's a pity that due to the incorrect construction, a lot of shower water runs into the hallway, so everything is very wet, which is a shame because it makes changing clothes difficult.Everything works with a camping card (credit card that you have to top up with me, the shower costs about 1.50. For a short shower, if you want to stand a little longer, you quickly go to two euros).Another minus point is the electricity price of 0.70 euros per kWh.That is really too expensive.

As a long-time camper (tent, van and now third small WW), I would have liked to join in with the good reviews for an overnight stay in the "ton", which we were given as a voucher. Unfortunately it didn't happen. First the pandemic prevented us from doing this, then our professional lives, because we didn't want to stay overnight on the weekend and now that we also have time during the week, the voucher had expired. After four years, it's understandable, but given the events of the last few years, I would have expected a little more goodwill. Nothing like this has ever happened to us anywhere on the many campsites we have visited.Guests and operators were always a unit who resolved questions and issues amicably. The pandemic-driven camping hype appears to be having an impact not only in prices, but also in the behavior of management. But in Germany, of course, the bug order comes before the bugs.It's a shame, it would have been a nice bike-friendly local recreation destination for us.

We stood with the camper on the "large meadow", everything was fine, the sanitary facilities were clean, a very nice environment. The restaurant by the lake was very nice, the food was delicious. We had a very nice few days

Absolutely underground. It started as soon as we arrived. Meter-long lines to register. Staff completely overwhelmed. We reserved a place online. When we arrived at the square we were placed under an oak tree. There was a rattle on the motorhome, so we went to the service point to report our comfort and ask for an alternative place. We were told that we were completely booked. The space we had was not portable and it was a shame to rent it out at all. It was clear to us that we were leaving!!! After 10 minutes we were offered another seat, which we declined because we were looking for something new over the phone. Dear ladies and gentlemen, if you are fully booked, be honest and communicate this in advance. What we experienced there in an hour was worse than in a big city!!!

We've been enjoying Easter here for years, the Easter bonfire is within walking distance and easy to reach even with children. Prices top!But we also go there often throughout the year. Highly recommended restaurant on site, as well as the snack bar in front of it!Good value for the place. Worth mentioning is the beautiful lake, as well as many different events on the weekends. Definitely recommended.

Larger campsite near the A28 between Delmenhorst and Oldenburg/OD.The place is in a quiet location but easy to reach on Lake Falkenstein. Like almost everywhere, many places are occupied by long-term campers, but there are also different sizes of bookable places available. There are also holiday homes, stilt houses and camping barrels. The square offers a small supermarket, a larger restaurant, a snack bar and a kind of lounge as a meeting place in bad weather. The sanitary facilities are distributed throughout the square and are mostly very modern and pleasantly equipped. Only the number of toilets is small during peak times. What is somewhat strange is the strict adherence to the fact that showers are only allowed from 7 a.m. onwards.Registration is conveniently done digitally, although checking in can then lead to longer waiting times; Ditto when checking out, when there is a long queue of motorhomes and caravans and it can take longer. So a tip: don't drive up to check out, but go on foot and at least keep the entrance/exit clear.It's a shame that there are few free places available in the summer and a weekend for normally active people from Friday to Sunday was not possible.Unfortunately, the internet coverage has to be mentioned negatively, as it does not offer sufficient network coverage and does not even allow simple pages to be accessed when purchasing access options. The fact that every shower costs extra here is a shame, but it has now become standard in many places.

It's a beautifully located place. Signing in and out is a bit chaotic but the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars. The sanitary facilities are clean, but unfortunately they close after 11 p.m. If you have to go to a toilet afterwards, you are allowed to use a very smelly toilet that is open 24 hours. The promised WiFi does not work and an event would have been announced earlier. We were on a trip and wanted to eat in the restaurant in the evening. It was closed due to an event without any prior notice. So shortly before closing time we had to look for a shop to get something to eat. Very annoying.

Great campsite! Top sanitary facilities with very regular cleaning! You can do a lot of things here because everyone is looking at what is possible and not what isn't possible! The employees are always nice and helpful and so is the boss! We had a great time and will definitely come back! Thanks!

Huge campsite around a lake. When we arrived on Saturday it was almost full and you noticed that. It is quite a challenge to drive through people with a car and caravan. Our spot was quite large with water. Also an oak tree that regularly dropped acorns on the caravan. Everything else is available at the campsite. It is an excellent campsite for parents with children. A bit too big for us. It is great for dog owners with special fields and a dog shower. It is wonderful to walk around the campsite.
