Very good guesthouse at a fair price. Only the parking situation is a bit tense through no fault of its own. Can only recommend this accommodation

Very nice, small, clean, self-catering guesthouse. The staff tries very hard to keep everything clean. The kitchen is well equipped so that you can prepare every meal yourself. There are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby. If the guesthouse is fully occupied, parking will be tight, but there are enough parking spaces on the street,Thanks to the team, keep it up.Greetings from Taunus

I was in Hagen twice for work and stayed at "Zur Heide" both weeks.Perfect location! Central but quiet, you can sleep well there. The beds and pillows are also great. Rooms are large, well-equipped and clean. A shared kitchen with a fridge and everything you need. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. If Hagen - then to the heath!

Very friendly people and nice rooms where you have everything at your disposalThey try to do everything they can to help, I am currently 8 months pregnant and they ensured that I only had to go up 1 floor... Just great

For us, the Herdecke/Hagen information was misleading. The guesthouse is in the middle of Hagen and that has nothing to do with Herdecke. By bike it is approx. 20km back and forth from the Ruhr cycle path. Also you can't get breakfast. The room is clean, the location is quiet. All in all, relatively unsuitable for bicycle travelers...

Getting there was uncomplicated, but you should have a navigation system. You can park in the yard, you think. However, there are only parking spaces for two vehicles. According to the clear labeling, you are not allowed to park in front of the two garages in front of which there are no flower pots.On the front door it is clearly stated that the room occupancy is written on the board in the entrance area on the left. I can't remember whether it says on the door or on the board that the key is in the room door, but it doesn't matter. There is an outdoor table in front of the front door for smokers, and if it rains they can take refuge in the garden shed. So it's well regulated so that the house can remain smoke-free.The first thing I noticed when I opened the front door was smoke because the cleaner was smoking in the basement, as I discovered the next morning. (The door to the basement is open and the "smell" from there is clear and even stronger) Absolutely unacceptable for a supposedly smoke-free house. When asked about this, the lady said that she would smoke outside in the future, which she probably did the next day when she saw me, but on the third day something clearly came from the cellar again. The room was tidy. If that was the big one, I don't want to know what the little ones are like. Since the beds have no edge, even if you are 1.87 tall, you won't feel tight in a 2-meter bed. I would classify the mattress hardness as H3.Anyone taller than 1.90 will not only have problems with the bed. Sitting down on the toilet without bumping into yourself will then be difficult. In the shower, however, I was able to stand in one place without hitting myself everywhere. The thin walls are annoying. What was funny to hear was the person blowing his nose and sounding like someone was screwing in three screws in quick succession with a cordless screwdriver. On Monday evening, however, I was tempted to offer stomach tablets in the next room or otherwise communicate through the flower that the loud belching that sounded like half a vomit every 5 minutes for two hours could be heard very clearly in the next room.Luckily, the same procedure only took half an hour on Tuesday. The billing was as uncomplicated as the arrival. The cleaner collects the money directly after handing over the invoice.

I have been coming from Cuxhaven several times a year for 20 years and will continue to use the guesthouse in the future. Nice rooms, good price.
