The guesthouse was built in 1996 and it makes a good impression from the outside (after all, you don't expect a designer hotel when you visit a guesthouse in the country). From the inside, however, everything seems a bit old-fashioned and you feel more reminiscent of the 80s than the mid-90s. The room was quite clean and everything worked. The mattresses were quite hard, which is certainly a matter of taste. However, the bedding smelled like the beds had been made a long time ago and not been used. In addition, it was very hard and scratchy. The same applies to the towels in the bathroom. Overall it was okay for one night, I wouldn't have wanted to stay there longer. The two stars are mainly based on the very high price (100 € for a double room per night in No Man's Land) and the breakfast included in the price. The buffet consisted, among other things, of reheated, flaky rolls and tarnished cold cuts of cheese and sausage without refrigeration. A positive highlight was the large selection of homemade jams, which, however, did not make us forget the moldy cream cheese from the discount store straight out of the plastic packaging. Maybe the breakfast is better if there are more guests, but we only saw 2 other cars in the parking lot next to us. We didn't receive an invoice either, just a receipt for the card payment. For €100 I definitely expect more in all areas, especially given the location, which isn't exactly central.

First town after the district of Bamberg in Lower Franconia with its own viticulture and home-style cuisine on the terrace.Everything was very well maintained, the waiters were very friendly and attentive.Thank you very much again

Service and food OK.Unfortunately you got a Jägerschnitzel with canned mushrooms, which is actually always a no go!And of course I expect fresh mushrooms for €14.Is standard everywhere.But what didn't work at all was the lack of card payment, which was not communicated beforehand.

We spent our vacation here and were very satisfied. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and special requests were also fulfilled. Thank you for the good hospitality

We had to stop along the way with the camper and ended up here by chance. For 5 euros we were allowed to park the camper and the electricity. There was no drinking water. The restaurant was great! …

When we visited the Traube, we were far from feeling like we were guests and at home. We were shoved into a room with a shared bathroom and shared toilet when the two days we had booked were over. …

There is no reason to criticize either the room (cleanliness) or the kitchen (quality and taste of the dishes). Questions and queries were responded to promptly and in a friendly manner. The next visit is already being planned.

Small guesthouse, room was clean but too small for €60, breakfast was okay, you could eat the food, unfortunately everything was very carelessly prepared, you had the feeling that no one was really up for it anymore, the staff could do it too laugh
