It's always a delight and highlight of our German holidays to come back to this lovely hotel. Food is traditional South German style and you can hear and see the owner Chef preparing dishes.

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels throughout the world, and there is truly something special about this place. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend staying there. The owner is fabulous and incredibly helpful. The town is adorable, and everyone in our party wished we could’ve stayed longer.

We came here twice as our first visit pleased us so much. Huge portions at a fair price, friendly service, and therefore always booked solid. …

The hotel is a charming old building that has remained structurally much as it was in the 18th century. Staff are helpful and friendly and the standard of cooking very good, we stayed 3 nights and we both had fish twice which was excellent, caught fresh from the lake.

We arrived early and although the hotel was busy with the lunch crowd, check-in was quick and easy. Parking was a bonus in this small town. Our room was spacious by European standards with a sitting area and very clean! …

Hotel Baeren is quite unlike anywhere we have stayed in before. The building is one of the most beautiful in Meersburg and dates from the 12th century I believe. …
