Beware of the landlady!!I was in the Taube apartment from February 23rd to February 24th. Unfortunately, I was subjected to some very bad experiences during the period.In the summer the apartments are crawling with moths and ants. When I asked if we could call a “pest controller”, your answer was “You take care of it yourself”.Unfortunately, there is absolutely no cell phone reception in the area, so you have to rely on WiFi. Even with WiFi reception it only gets moderately better and once again when I asked if you could do anything about it, your answer was “get a router yourself”.The landlady is absolutely uncooperative and completely rude on top of that.The apartment will be handed over in a very clean condition, but when you move out, a professional cleaning of €500 + a cleaning company will be required to clean the windows; every tiny speck of dust must be removed. Even on the balcony you have to scrub the smallest stain from the stone slabs.The absolute climax came when I was handing over the keys to my move out. There is a washing machine in the laundry room in the basement, which can be used by every holiday resident. She apparently wanted to charge me 5 euros per wash cycle based on the water meter. However, this was not stated or agreed upon in the rental agreement. If I hadn't advised her about legal action in this case, she would have imposed further, completely unreasonable costs on me.She wants to pay me back the deposit of €4,000 in a few days, but after 3 weeks I'm still waiting for the refund.My personal opinion: keep a long distance from the holiday apartment!UPDATE July: I have now received my deposit through legal action. The landlady doesn't deserve it any other way

The holiday apartment is beautifully, tastefully and high quality furnished. Absolute peace and seclusion. We felt very comfortable. If you're looking for more, Lake Constance is very close.
