Went for dinner on the recommendation of a local, so can't comment on rooms, but imagine they are perfectly lovely if the rest of the place is anything to go by. Traditional spot, but run by a lovely young couple doing some interesting things. Delicious beer from their microbrewery, and good local wines in a jug on tap, or bottle. All our food was wonderful. The seafood risotto starter and beef soup with noodles were particularly good. We also very much enjoyed the beef cheeks and rose veal. It was all delicious. Recommend booking as it gets busy and dining area is fairly small, bus stop is just round corner on main rd to enable all to enjoy the beer etc.

I’ve only had dinner here, so I can’t speak for the rooms. The food here is special though and very refined. Everything is made in house and plated with care. This is how German food should be served. Definitely save room for desert as well and try their own brewed beer.

Very good restaurant with a good menu. It's always tasty here. Today, however, we were turned away for the second time when we wanted to stop for lunch on a bike ride. Both times there were enough seats available on the terrace and in front of the house, but the service employee sent us away again on the grounds that the restaurant was full. It's a real shame because we've been really happy so far.

We celebrated our daughter's baptism in the Krone. The cozy side room offered enough space for our 20 guests and would have been enough for many more people. The service was outstanding, the staff extremely friendly and attentive. The meal was excellent. Before the event, we had a detailed preliminary discussion in which we were able to discuss the menu, decorations and other details. The Scharf family responded to our individual wishes. Even afterwards, they were always easy to reach for questions. The celebration met our expectations in every respect. We can fully recommend this restaurant and will certainly come back for future celebrations.
