I've been a guest at the Hirschen for months.Very great, nice, friendly and always helpful hosts. 1A price-performance ratio. Here the boss cooks himself and the food tastes excellent.Suitable for long-term business trips too. Also wonderful for a romantic weekend for two..Simply great here!!!

We spent the weekend at the Gasthaus Hirschen Birkendorf and felt completely at home - almost like we were at home. The rooms were cozy and inviting, the view of the landscape was simply wonderful. Everything was super clean. We really liked the family atmosphere. Landlady Moni and her husband and chef Martin create a loving atmosphere in the guesthouse and inn. The food was just amazing. We will definitely come back!

We knew beforehand that we wouldn't be expecting a modern 5-star hotel.What we found here, however, are simple but extremely clean rooms,first-class Baden cuisine,as well as a family that is doing its job well despite all the economic adversities in these times.All this with a dedication that is probably only inherited in the High Black Forest.We enjoyed being here -and would love to come back.Schilowsky/Bussmann familyOctober 2024

Do you want a good home-style meal? Then you are exactly right here.We've been eating out more often on Sundays and have always had very friendly service. Very pleasant stay.

The housekeepers are terribly unpleasant people, and there is no oven in the kitchen, and you can't even use the outdoor grill. Asthma sufferers should be careful not to catch the terrible dust in the curtains. One washing machine is available for a fee, even only on Saturdays, and there is no dryer either

Last week we were guests at the Hirschen with a total of 24 people.The team around Moni and her husband absolutely spoiled us during our stay with their friendly and friendly nature. The large soccer field right next to the hotel is ideal for a training camp in the depths of the Black Forest.In addition to a volleyball field and a table tennis table, there are also alternative leisure activities available when the weather is nice.Eating in the form of full board is absolutely recommended, and individual wishes are also taken into account here.The in-house bar in the basement also invites you to enjoy a hoppy drink.Absolute recommendation for a football training camp!

I stayed overnight at the beautiful Gasthof zum Hirschen with a small group of civilized young men.We received a very friendly welcome.For dinner there was a large selection of traditional German dishes.I can only recommend the schnitzel with fries, I felt like picking flowers inside eating it.The rooms were very comfortable (even with a balcony)The Hopfenkeller, a small rustic bar, was also very cozy and inexpensive. Last but not least, the friendly service made a very positive impression on all of us.Just as the deer cries out for fresh water, my heart cries out for another stay at the Gasthof zum Hirschen.
