The room was a good size and very clean - facing the back. It had coffee making facilities but no coffee or tea - not what we would have expected for the stars/price (the inn and b&b we stayed in on the same trip did). …

Our daughter made her wedding in this village and booked all the rooms in the hotel for her guests, but we were very unhappy with the service quality with such a high room rate 1) we can’t make cancellation for guests who were not able to …

Even though one needs to take the ferry to cross the Rhine to visit Boppard, St Goar and Bacharach...it's works!  …

We are very surprised that this hotel has so many stars. We traveled with 3 women and 2 dogs. I stated this when we booked. We got a tiny 3-bed room, right next to the train, for a completely overpriced price of €230.The breakfast was just bad. Rock hard rolls and absolutely bad scrambled eggs. Too bad. That wasn't a nice stay. Unfortunately.

There were three of us with two dogs on the Rheinsteig, and we received a relatively unfriendly welcome when we arrived. The room was designated as a family room, which was not true at all, small and cramped, no water or similar refreshment in the room... and that without a restaurant or bar in the hotel! When we asked, which was difficult because everything was cordoned off and no one was in sight, we were given a drink!Loud and bright at night!!Breakfast way too late at 8.30 a.m., in summer you're out and about early! The breakfast was pitiful, rock-hard baked rolls, the scrambled eggs were not fresh, and there was no cappuccino!Packed lunch advertised on the homepage...nothing, no one wanted it anyway!!For this high price of 230€ we would have expected a hotel with better facilities!“More appearance than reality”!No recommendation!!!

We came here after a strenuous day of hiking. Ms. Bauer is a very magical person who took very touching care of us and our wishes (even in advance when we called to clarify a few questions). As soon as we arrived, we were served an ice-cold beer and the sauna was immediately turned on just for us so that we could end the day of hiking with wellness. Your restaurant recommendations were great, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want and egg dishes were freshly prepared upon request.A family business run with a lot of love in the 3rd generation. If we are in the area again we would love to come back! Some reviews here complained that the room price was too high. Of course, a small family business cannot keep up with the dumping prices of large hotel chains and you have to live on something if you can only make money in the summer season. We found the 120€ for our room (without a view of the Rhine - we've seen it all day from the Rheinsteig) absolutely reasonable for 2 people!

We spontaneously went away for two days.+++ The owner is super nice. She had made coffee for both of us early in the morning and also prepared eggs according to our wishes. It was plentiful and tasty. The room was clean and the balcony was large. There were matching seat cushions for the two chairs.Refrigerator and kettle are available.- - - There is nothing negative to report.Thank you for the lovely time.
