A proper campers campsite. ! Large space for tents a little wood shelter with benches, even a fridge. We loved the simplicity and feeling of being in nature rather than on a high tech crowded caravan / motorhome site. The showers and toilets were just fine and very clean. The beer was good too. If you are on a cycle tour it's a great site to be on and quite cheap too. Yes the trains are noisy but they don't run all night.

Cycle touring. Nice receptionist checked me in and told me where to go for tent area. This happens to be right next to both the road as well as railway line (30m away). Could she not have given me another better place next to the river, as they were not full ??Cyclists don't go here unless they have assured you of another place next to the river where the noise will not be too bad...

One night stop on my cycle tour and this was a very pleasant site. Camping area on an elevated field with a sheltered picnic bench at the centre. Facilities were good, although not close to the tent area.

Fine campsite for visitors which are happy with a basic camping. Mostly camper vans which are occupying the riverside, really nice spots! At the end of the camping there’s a field for tents, less nice spots and near the railway. The railway a furthermore always in this rather small Rhein valley. For two nights with a van we were charged 28€, good value in my opinion.

The location is nice, view of river and Castle is amazing. The camping place is full of camping vans and very few spots available for tents. The place is next to railway line and it's very disturbing at times. Hospitality of owner was nice. There is provision for (cold) showers toilets and food (expensive). Only downside is the train noise. Apart from that everything is good.

As we arrived at this place the waiter asked where we are going to stay, we replied that we are going to continue our journey and drink a beer at their place. She acted afterwards very rude and even wanted us to pay in advance for 3 beers

Worst Camping I've ever been! The owner is agressive and unpleasant, the noise of the train is anoyng, the bathrooms stink... Everything you wouldn't want to find in a summer camping may be found here!

Once again, there is never a bicycle tent space right next to the train tracks to sleep here
