We stayed for one night with a tent, the camping is very good located along the flood and it’s very close to the water. The bathrooms and showers were very fresh and clean. The downside of the tent area was that it were quiet dry ground so it was a bit harder to get the spikes down. The website was only in German which made it a bit tricky to book a place.Overall I would recommend to stay here

This campsite has friendly owners, is located next to the river and in walking distance of a small village. If you order bread it will be delivered at your place in the morning. The pitches directly to the river will give you a nice view, however if you are located more at the backside of the camping the pitches are not so attractive and overall very small with little privacy. The toilets and showers were good, but during my visit 2 out of the 4 showers (men) were out of order which is not great in high season period. Pricing is too high for what you get.

Very nice and tiny camping spot in an amazing scenery underneath the castle Marksburg. The new owners try to get everything new and cozy. Places are amazing, right next to the Rhine river without any streets or pathways between you and the water. Also the sundowners are blasting!!! Great hiking and biking trails around. The coffee is absolutely prime! Good for a short stop on your motorcycle tour, too.Bakery in the morning directly to your camper!❤️

This campsite was a great find, what a fantastic place to stay. Very welcoming with great facilities and reasonably priced. Different areas along the riverbank for the types of camping you would like. I stayed with a small tent in the tent area, still had a river view. Highly recommended.

Finally, a small, friendly campsite on the banks of the Rhine in the shadow of the famous Marksburg Castle. Recently taken over by a lovely, creative young couple and their adorable doggie named Bonnie... Ordered bread is even brought to your van... Wish them all the best and hope to return or send others their way!
