ATTENTION...since Corna there isn't any rated food here! 🫣 Here you can get drinks in the garden...and some music to chill out...The reviews with food are misleading.Good selection of drinks, lots of space and fantastic sunsets. Ideal for relaxing.

Actually, this restaurant has an excellent location. Actually the terrace is wonderful and offers a beautiful view.Actually the best conditions…...if you were served.We tried to dine at this restaurant twice. Each time the terrace was largely empty. A waitress or waiter kept scurrying past us, trying hard to avoid any eye contact.After just over 10 minutes we received a menu. But they didn't want to take our drink order.After that, no one cared about us anymore. So we sat there with our menu and watched as several waiters and waitresses kept scurrying past us without even looking at us and not showing the slightest interest in the hungry and thirsty guest.So we went again the second time.There won't be a third time.There are other restaurants on the island. And as you can hear, these are also significantly better from a culinary point of view. And you are served...

Unfortunately the restaurant will be closed in 2024! But a visit to the beer garden or bar is always worthwhile.

The restaurant performance in terms of food is far below the level of the food prices. We even had to let some of it go back, but we left some of it standing. Drinking, yes, very friendly service, but that alone doesn't help. The kitchen urgently needs work.

We received good, quick and friendly service here. We were there in the middle of the season at the best time and in the best weather. It was packed outside. But since there were enough staff and a good system was apparently installed, everything worked quickly and smoothly. You are shown to your seat and served quickly. The washroom was also impeccable - large, bright and, above all, spotlessly clean. We also know the island host from previous visits to the island. Always a safe bet if you want to eat well.

Nice service and good food. The terrace with a view of Lake Chiemsee was also wonderful. A little more expensive, but normal prices for the Fraueninsel. My spinach lasagna was very tasty and came very quickly. I think it was homemade! Overall, highly recommended!Tip: Definitely prefer to eat on the Fraueninsel rather than on the Herreninsel (there is very overpriced canteen food there)

Bad service, absolutely no value for money. Even the beer doesn't taste good. We paid after an hour because the food we ordered didn't arrive. You'll never see us there again.

A waiter very unfriendly and condescending. Ice cream cafe tasted like it was burnt. Prices are horrendous.

Good nice location, that was too! There are deficits in terms of gastronomy here.We had to wait too long, definitely >40 minutes, the waitress often looked at us as we walked past, others who came after us were served earlier.The Grander water costs almost 5 euros, extremely expensive if it is only tapped from the tap.The prices had already been taken off if at least everything had been right. The fish (char), well, not seasoned enough, was a ready-made sauce. Chicken slices with cream curry sauce there was nothing with curry.That would be a case for Christian Rach.I won't go back there anymore.

We were in the restaurant. Location and tradition are everything. Everyone understands that it is a little more expensive on an island that thrives on (day) tourism, but the prices are disproportionate to the portions. The service is friendly.
