Absolutely beautiful place but the staff was wildly rude and inconsiderate. They just stand around chatting with each other and when we tried to draw their attention, we got a handgesture that implied we were impatient little children. We only wanted a quick drink as we had to catch the last boat but they just don't seem to care at all about providing efficient and friendly service. Too bad as it's a very pretty terrace. The two stars are only for the location, staff would deserve -5 stars.

The restaurant has a very poor and slow service. We waited one hour for having our food. The waiters were not kind at all and the food, even if it tasted good, it was cold.

Stayed overnight in a spotlessly clean room. We were 5 cyclists arriving after a day of rain. Andrea has good English and put the bikes in the large garage. …

The restaurant is exceptional. Highly recommend for local specialties and Bavarian meals. They offer seasonal variety with a gourmet twist. The food is fresh, and I learned that the meats are handpicked and purchased from local butchers, everything is home-made, including the delicious cakes! The waitstaff were very attentive, making the whole experience on Fraueninsel that much better. An excellent dining experience!

Dinner here was fantastic! The food was fabulous and also authentic. Outdoor dining was delightful. The island was awesome - very unique. ||||Wish we’d have known to stay at this hotel for our work. It’s absolutely beautiful. And, the owner is super friendly and truly cares about his guests.

The waiters are nice, the food is nice. But there are leaves and fruits pouring onto the tables and your food all the time from the trees in the garden.I has Schnitzel and I didn't like Sardine on it. I think it's a strong smelling fish and the restaurants should ask before putting Sardine on your Schnitzel.

Strange, but it took about an hour to get main dish. Cream soup was with raw asparagus and was replaced. Priced quite high even for Bavaria: 2x juice, 1xsoup, 1xfish, 1xschnizel with pomes = 105.20 euro, but according to menu the price was 78.8 euro. Waiter did not give the receipt and just asked for the money. For me, it’s clear “no go”.

Lovely and fancy restaurant in the island, they have plenty of outside dinning and a nice setup. Overall it's probably one of the best options to eat at the island a "full meal", just the typical "pricy" one as it's kinda obvious by location. The service is slow so you might wait a bit to have your food but it's a good place to sit down and have a meal.+Definitely recommend the Chiemsee fish as it's pretty fresh and well cooked.++The schnitzel is okay but not the best as its made in oven and not deep fried, the potatoe salad could also be a slightly better in flavour.+++Good options for cakes, highlight is the berry-milknrice cake, super soft and light dessert.
