Hats off...despite the huge crowds and definitely a lot of stress, the staff are friendly, nice and considerate. We'll definitely come back when there's no gingerbread market.👍

I'm so amazed by everything...you have to go there!.... Started with the selection of drinks (it's so extensive, you really don't know what to take...preferably 3 drinks at once 😄), the menu (filled with many regional dishes + a board in the courtyard with additional dishes) Ice cream is offered, I assume that it is made in-house.There are plenty of seating options, in front of the entrance, inside and in the courtyard. We sat in the latter and it was very comfortable 🤗...the drinks were great, the food was really good (among other things we had a Pfefferküchler burger with, as the name suggests, gingerbread...extraordinary!!!) the service was very, very warm and so kind!....I'm just thrilled.... Thank you very much!!!.... Absolutely recommended!!!!

I was quite disappointed by the inflexibility of the staff. The Harlequin itself has a nice location, the interior is also very attractive and the ice cream tastes relatively good. But recently I wanted to drink a non-alcoholic shandy, whereupon the waitress actually looked at me with huge eyes and said: “We don’t have that”.All well and good, I thought to myself and just said: “Um, what a shame! Actually EVERY store has that.”But she didn't even come up with the idea of mixing a bottle of non-alcoholic beer with a glass of lemonade, as other shops do.Then the waitress reacted with an uncertain twitch when I ordered an apple juice spritzer instead.A friend had a very similar experience when she wanted a caffeine-free cappuccino. There wouldn't be. All right. When asked if she could get a latte macchiato with decaffeinated coffee, the male waitress said: "We won't do that," with a really stroppy, annoyed undertone, according to her statement. But there is caffeine-free coffee. You could definitely have mixed a caffeine-free latte macchiato yourself.I find the staff extremely inflexible and sometimes quite unfriendly. For me a clear “no” to the Harlequin. In response to the owner's comment below:We didn't want to drink anything on Sunday when you closed.I wanted to tell you personally how unfortunate I find the inflexibility of your friendly team. I didn't remember the opening times, that's true. However, since you were sitting together in the team, it wasn't the right moment for me.Also, I say: “No” to the Harlequin. What other Google users do with it is their own business. After all, you have enough positive reviews.I wish you wouldn't rest on your laurels.

ATTENTION when buying an ice cream sundae! If you want scoops instead of soft ice cream, EVERYTHING will be charged individually. €2.50 for a bit of cream, €2.50 for a small dollop of chocolate sauce, €2.50 for the strawberries and €6.50 for 3 scoops of ice cream. So you pay €14 for the cup instead of €8.50! I was shocked! We will definitely avoid this store in the future, even though we used to enjoy coming here. Simply usury!

Harlekin Café in Pulsnitz - A hidden gemDuring a leisurely walk through Pulsnitz we came across the Harlekin Café by chance and it was an absolute stroke of luck. As soon as we entered the café, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly service, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The selection of food and drinks is impressive. Particularly noteworthy are the delicious waffles, which are freshly prepared and offered with a variety of toppings. The selection of ice cream, cakes and mixed drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. Every bite was a pleasure and you can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here. The atmosphere in the Harlequin Café is simply great. The furnishings are stylish and cozy, so you immediately feel at home. It is the perfect place to take a break and unwind. Whether inside or outside - the ambience invites you to linger. In summary, I can only warmly recommend the Harlekin Café in Pulsnitz. It is a small but nice place that impresses with its friendly service, the excellent selection of food and drinks and the wonderful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! PS: We can't write anything about the guesthouse/holiday apartment because we were on tour with our motorhome.
