Kurhaus Bad Bentheim

We had a wonderful evening at the Kurhaus in Bad Bentheim. We immediately felt warmly welcome.The food was excellent. The menu offers a wonderful selection of Italian dishes. Every bite was a delight, from the starters to the main courses. After the great meal there was simply no room for dessert.Another highlight was the beautiful courtyard where we sat. The surroundings were idyllic and provided the perfect backdrop for our dinner. The cozy and at the same time elegant design of the courtyard made the evening particularly pleasant.Overall, our visit to the Kurhaus Bad Bentheim was a completely successful experience. Great food, a nice host and a wonderful courtyard – what more could you want? We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

Apparently the operators of this so-called restaurant assume that people like to wait in lines. A queue for drinks, coffee and cake, a queue for food, a queue for ice cream.If you think this concept through to the end, then in the future you will probably cook your own order and then do the washing up yourself.Coziness is different!

I went to the Kurhaus a few times during my rehabilitation. It was always very nice - there were snacks at lunchtime and very tasty cakes in the afternoon. The meal in the evening left nothing to be desired and special requests were also catered for. The staff is great and always friendly. But there aren't enough people, so you have to get the drinks yourself. Drinks were also served during the meal.All in all - always happy!

As a native of Bad Bentheim, I have visited many restaurants in the area, but have rarely experienced such a hospitable and passionate chef. The dishes were not only delicious in terms of taste, but the presentation on the plate was also simply fantastic! It is a real asset for Bad Bentheim to have an Italian restaurant with such passionate cuisine in the neighborhood.The service was always friendly and the staff always had a big smile on their faces, even when the restaurant was full. I will definitely recommend you highly - keep it up!Best regards

A pity. We wanted to eat there Saturday (7/27/24) evening. Two other tables were occupied in the hall. The cards were brought to one table and we picked them up at the counter. After almost 15 minutes we left again after the waitress walked past us seven times without even looking at us.Noticeable (even at the counter with several employees): No greeting, no question about drinks, etc. At MC... the service is better. I also don't order a rump steak for almost 30 euros with self-service.Never again!

We are overwhelmed by the restaurant👍🏼Everything was perfect from A to Z.Nice staff, great cuisine, great food selection and a chef who cooks with heart and soul ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting you again!!!

We were guests in the restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The staff was extremely attentive and we never lacked for anything. The food was excellent value for money and tasted delicious. We were recommended the fish platter for two, saying that the chef had an ocean in the restaurant, and he made it true when serving the platter. We were tastefully served numerous different fish fillets as well as black tiger prawns and even a lobster. Everything was cooked perfectly. For dessert there was an excellent tiramisu. We will come back in any case.Thank you for the lovely evening!

The food was very tasty. Real Italian cuisine and atmosphere. Great atmosphere, you feel very comfortable.Thanks again to Mardenli and the others for the great service :)

Went to eat at the Kurhaus restaurant.The service staff was completely disorganized and it took over 20 minutes until we could finally place our order. After three different service staff were at our table to delegate the order taking to a colleague.After another twenty minutes had passed, the starters came to the table.The starters were ok and tasty.The side salad consisted of two thick (2 cm) cucumber slices, two tomato quarters, lots of very spicy onions and lettuce leaves, some of which were already wilted, and a touch of dressing.After another twenty minutes and the announcement that the main course was coming and shortly afterwards the chef asked if he could bring the main course, the plates were finally on the table.The grilled skewer on the grill plate was completely burnt and charred and the remaining ingredients on the plate were literally swimming in oil.For the second main course, Saltimboca, the sauce had already separated into oil and cream, so that the remaining ingredients were also floating in the oil.The rosemary potatoes that were ordered as a side dish instead of the polenta were charged an additional €4.5 each when billing, that's outrageous!When I wanted to pay my bill, the staff asked me to do so at the cash register.There I then had to stand in the long queue (11 people) at the self-service counter in the outdoor catering area.My conclusion from this restaurant visit is: once and never again, my expectations based on the good reviews were not met, what a shame!

Hello,I was there from June 18th. - July 9th, 2024 as a guest at the rehabilitation clinic and often enjoyed visiting the beer garden when the weather was nice.The staff was always friendly and tried very hard to provide the flood of guests with cool drinks and other treats!Unfortunately, this was only possible through self-service because, according to the boss, they were chronically understaffed due to a lack of skilled workers.The chef, who can cook excellently (!), but whose behavior (outbursts of anger and insults in front of the guests) towards his colleagues in the kitchen and service contributes to the few staff quitting, is absolutely unacceptable!I have many years of experience in gastronomy and sometimes the tone is harsh, but that's not possible!The boss has to find clear words,Otherwise he'll lose his "drawhorses" René and the lady at the tap with the dark, shoulder-length hair, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. Maria has already given notice.What a shame!
