I'd highly recommend this site for anyone wanting to visit Hameln, which is a really pretty town. It sits alongside the River Wesser, most pitches are hardstanding with grass alongside for awnings, though there is an entirely hardstanding zone for RVs and longer motorhomes. Those towing caravans did struggle with the width of pitches, not enough space for car, caravan and awning side by side. The sanitary facilities are outstanding - spotlessly clean and completely disinfected each night. Plenty of toilets and showers, including disabled access facilities (ask Reception for the key). A kitchen is available for campers, includes a hob and cooker and food preparation space. The price also includes free use of both a washing machine and tumble drier. There is an on site restaurant, appears more 'high end' food than simple snacks but we did not try it out.

The campsite was very well run and in an excellent location.|Just a 10 minute cycle from the town centre.|Our pitch was situated by the side of the Weser.|The facilities were extremely clean and very unique.|This is the best campsite that we have ever stayed on.

It is a small campsite, very cozy, the service is incredible, they are very friendly and make you feel at home. The toilet is a work of art. The sunsets are beautiful as are the sunrises.

Excellent toilet facilities if somewhat over ornate and up flight of steps. Pitches are level, close together and your main lead could be across the access lanes. Site itself need some TLC but it’s acceptable. …

Great little campsite with outstanding toilets and shwer block. The showers and toilets are of very high quality and are throughly cleaned. The campsite is very well located for visiting Hameln which is a beautiful town. We arrived yesterday afternoon and the place was very busy but this did not stop the young lady in reception who was flat out with customers but was very nice. The young lady was very friendly and helpful to me and she is a credit to the campsite. She works very well under pressure. There is a bus stop 500 mtr away or if able bodies you can walk or ride a bike into town within 15min. We would return. Cheers
