We stopped at the inn today during our bike tour. As a precaution, I had booked a table in the beer garden in advance. The food was very tasty and there was a large selection of dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be back definitely. Next time maybe at dinner time. This restaurant is really recommended.

Home-style Thuringian cuisine, delicious roasts with real homemade Thuringian dumplings. Nice courteous service. Small beer garden available.

Never had such a bad meal 🤢.The dumplings are totally watered down and have a consistency like wallpaper paste.Pancakes were floating in rancid oil.Sauerbraten was reminiscent of the sole of a shoe.Duck legs probably from the rubber eagle. You had to look for red cabbage on the plate. When I ate I was glad that there wasn't so much red cabbage...Prices are utopian for what is on offer.Only cash payment possible 🙄.They don't seem to know service there.Never again.

We went for lunch on Sunday and luckily had a reservation. There are still real green dumplings here, fresh and homemade. The sauerbraten was delicious, as was the lamb shank and it fell off the bone so tenderly. Best Thuringian home cooking :)In the months with "R" be sure to try the carp and don't miss the slaughter festival!Very nice hosts and service. Unbeatable price-performance ratio.

We went on a bike tour and stopped at the “Gasthaus zur Post” in Gräfenwarth. We were more than surprised. It was my first time there, my wife knew it from the 90s.A great value for moneyrelationship, good home cooking. We were really full. It was super tasty😋. I had lamb shank and my wife, sauerbraten. We'll definitely be back. 🤗 🤘🏻👋🏻👍🏻.

We were on the trip, I come from Hamburg and haven't experienced such great service for a long time 🤜🤛 We didn't stay overnight on site but we couldn't miss the delicious food (like in the other pictures) 😏 . So I ordered, waited for about 30 minutes and enjoyed a culinary feast at the end. The next time we're on the corner we'll have another nice meal here.Highly recommended and worth every visit

Eating something quick on the way to the dam... not necessarily here again! -- The landlord seems unfriendly and grumpy, not very welcoming. -- Corona seems to be a foreign word, because not even the innkeeper wears a mask here! -- The food was mediocre, but the portion was rather manageable. -- Only selected dishes are written on the board outside the restaurant. -- Overall, the restaurant seems a bit from a bygone era. -- The negative reviews have come true. You should listen to it and go somewhere else where there is more warmth and a better hygiene concept.

A classic inn with appropriate furnishings. The meal was okay. The salad plate contained mainly preserved vegetables and only a few raw vegetables. But the taste was ok. Everyone can add their own seasoning. The serving could be a little more loving. The service wasn't unfriendly during our visit, but it could have been much warmer and more open-minded.

After we were vigorously refused to eat nearby because our dog was with us, there was no problem at all. The food was also real home cooking with very friendly service. We'd love to come back. Good food at very fair prices. LG from Hesse.
