What a wonderful hotel, welcoming, clean, and good location on the island, The breakfast has everything you could possibly want plus the offer of cooked eggs. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely beds that are always so good in German hotels.||Mr & Mrs Nagel are very good hosts.

A small private guesthouse with very nice owners, there is a rich breakfast with an egg of your choice, whether boiled, scrambled or fried, everything is freshly prepared. Coffee and tea are provided in the afternoon.Some rooms are equipped with a terrace, the rooms are clean, the size is sufficient. The house staff is very nice. We will come back.Thanks for the hospitality.

Very nice rooms and 1 apartment...everything modern and very clean. Innkeepers very friendly, always available. Small problems are solved immediately.We have been regular guests in this house for 10 years - and there will be many more years together.

Very nice, small hotel in a quiet corner. Excellent breakfast, very friendly, courteous and individual service. Room with everything you need, nicely furnished and a great view of the water through the French balcony (only stated as sea view through window). When we are back on Helgoland, we will definitely try to find accommodation here again.

Everything was really perfect. The route to the hotel from the ship is short and there are no stairs. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The room is really big for Heligoland standards, with a nice view of the dune and the sports boat harbor. The room was cozy and perfectly furnished. The breakfast buffet was small and clear, but everything was there, different types of sausage, cheese, jam and salmon. If something was empty, it was immediately refilled and eggs and scrambled or fried eggs were freshly prepared upon request. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Free WiFi. We would love to come back to the hotel

We felt very comfortable in the Aqua Marina. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and were thrilled when we saw our room. Everything was very clean and functionally modern. Very nice bathroom and even a cozy little terrace. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. All in all a very nice holiday...even if it was too short. Exactly 4 years ago (on the exact same dates in March) our Heligoland short vacation was canceled literally at the last second due to the lockdown; Now it was finally time - 4 days in Helgoland. For this we chose the Hotel Aqua Marina, a good choice, as it turned out: friendly welcome, nice rooms, a good location and - last, but not least - a great, lovingly prepared breakfast buffet (even with fresh herring, prepared to order eggs), which made for a good start to the Helgoland day. At fair prices there is a drinks fridge on the ground floor on a trust basis, coffee and tea free of charge around the clock. Centrally located in the lowlands, you can be in the middle of the action in just a few minutes. On top of that, there is always a nice conversation with the hosts. We can say that the Aqua Marina contributed significantly to our absolutely successful stay in Heligoland. Thanks to Ms. and Mr. Nagel for their honest hospitality! Return not excluded.
