We booked the panoramic trip in Bernkastel-Kues with a subsequent vineyard tour and wine tasting and ended up with the Herges family. We actually wanted to go out to eat after the wine tasting, but it was so cozy in the courtyard that we stayed to eat and had liqueur for dessert. You feel completely welcome and like you are “among friends”. A great atmosphere! Thank you very much. There are also holiday rooms that we will definitely book and come back to at some point.

Wonderful weekend on the MoselleWe spent a fantastic weekend in this accommodation as a group of 7 people and were completely thrilled. The breakfast was simply delicious, with regional products and a large selection that left nothing to be desired. The wine was excellent and reflected the winemaking family's love of the craft. The service was always friendly and accommodating, we immediately felt at home. The rooms are rustic and comfortably furnished and the backyard is a real highlight - ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine. A wonderful winemaking family that offers its guests an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the great time!

We had a lovely time on the Moselle and our accommodation played a big role.We were warmly welcomed at the Brunnenhof Herges winery and invited to a glass of wine. The room was cozy and clean, as well as the breakfast with fresh rolls and sausage/cheese from the butcher with homemade jams and grape juices, the buffet was varied and very tasty. The cozy inner courtyard invited you to a glass of wine and delicious small dishes. Conversations with the winemaker couple rounded off the cozy evening. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

I decided to go to the BRUNNENHOF winery with my wife on their 16th wedding anniversary and stayed there overnight. An overnight stay is also an advantage if you want to enjoy the wines on offer in the winery in peace and quiet and without having to worry about getting your driver's license. The winemaker family also runs an ostrich farm.In addition to the home-made wines, the range of food on offer is good and very tasty. The guest room inside is lovingly furnished. There is also a well-equipped and partially covered outdoor area (former passage to the inner courtyard). There is also a fountain (deep well) in the inner courtyard. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty.Rolls and bread from the bakery, fresh cold cuts of cheese and ham (no plastic packaging), homemade jam, grape juice from our own production, etc.So exactly my thing. We took the wine selection from the previous evening home by the carton the next morning.

Great tour of the wine production (registered a day in advance) followed by a wine tasting with good explanations, especially the young master winemaker Jonas shows his enthusiasm for his craft, which he conveys very well, even in English upon request. We had a great evening there.
