I have from October 25th. Spent a wonderful short vacation on Heligoland until October 27th, 2024. It was my very first visit to the island. And I made exactly the right decision to book a room with the Mielke family in the Haus am Meer. Ms. Mielke and her team are fantastic hosts. Ms. Mielke personally greeted all guests at the breakfast table in the morning. I felt very comfortable. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer. My single room was functionally furnished. It was very clean, I didn't miss anything. I was surprised by the extraordinarily good and varied breakfast. I was particularly impressed by the selection of fish. This is really not a given. I will definitely come back, next time with my wife and I'm already looking forward to it.

Very accommodating and super friendly staff, great accommodation, delicious fish sandwiches will be requested tomorrow and they will be ready for us in the afternoon. Great fresh scrambled eggs made from fresh eggs, or alternating fried eggs.We feel very comfortable here. Thank you for your hospitality!

On the second attempt it finally worked and we were allowed to be guests in the house by the sea. What can I say? It was one of the most beautiful holidays I have ever experienced. From the small, cozy rooms to the breakfast, everything was perfect. More is not possible! Even in the afternoon, freshly cooked coffee and cake are always available for self-service. What else needs to be mentioned is so good. Filled fridge with all kinds of drinks. Whatever you can imagine for self-service. We will be back. No question!

As always, everything was ok. Room was very clean, breakfast: sea wasn't possible, everything was there that tasted good and in the afternoon delicious home-baked cake with coffee. Waiter was very friendly, attentive and always happy to have fun. Room service was very thorough, everything was always clean. The owner, Ms. Mielke, was there to answer any questions and always give a little chat.ready.Thanks again for the nice days, we'll be back.The Kohlhoff and Goecks family.

Great accommodation. Friendly fun staff. Very obliging. I booked online and didn't get a payment link, don't be surprised! Payment is only made on site when checking out. Breakfast is always included (from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.) even if it says “no food” on the homepage. In the morning a table outside was reserved especially for me, which I hadn't expected! The breakfast is super filling and everything is good. Great rolls, fresh scrambled eggs, cold cuts, yogurt, juice, etc. 👏 In the afternoon you can help yourself to homemade cakes at the buffet. Coffee 2.50 and with cake 6.00 euros. Absolutely fair! On the day of departure I was able to leave my luggage there. Oh yes, and there is a huge fridge with all kinds of alcoholic drinks, also at a fair price. Conclusion: I would be happy to come again at any time!!!

For the third time my girlfriend and I went on holiday to Helgoland for a week at the beginning of June.We were happy and full of positive expectations to stay again with Mrs. Mielke in the “Haus am Meer”. From the beginning we felt like we were in Abraham's bosom.This was probably also due to the humorous and courteous nature of the two “house ghosts” Mariana and Casian. Well, and the excellent breakfast, the daily homemade cake and the freshly filled fish sandwiches on request contribute significantly to increasing your well-being.We would love to come back!A. A small, beautiful hotel in the Helgoland lowlands. Almost directly on the old pier.The boss herself welcomed us very warmly. We had a small apartment under the roof and felt very comfortable there. The last staircase there was a bit adventurous and is not for unathletic people. :-)In the afternoon you can enjoy coffee and cake on the beautiful terrace. The view is fantastic.The best thing, however, is certainly the incredibly good breakfast! We have never experienced anything this good. Everything was made with a lot of love. A lot of it is homemade.After breakfast, with your last coffee, you go out onto the terrace again and enjoy the sunrise. This is a leisure luxury that could hardly be more beautiful.I recommend this house with all my heart and am already looking forward to the next visit! Thanks!

Great hotel located right on the promenade including its own terrace with sea views. You can take drinks in the fridge. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. The boss still takes care of the guests personally.We have been coming to the hotel for years and will continue to do so.

From arrival to departure everything was perfect! Friendly welcome, a great breakfast buffet, coffee and cake in the afternoon, the view from the room, chilled drinks and delicious schnapps. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back; but then for at least 3 nights!

Beautiful good day,I visited this beautiful hotel in March or April of 2020... Very nice, clean rooms decorated with these old pictures and maps, very nice to sit on the terrace in the evening and drink one of the good wines, there is also a lot to eat here good !!! Very friendly staff and also pretty cheap compared to other hotels in or on Heligoland...Kind regards, Mr. Sascha Milosevski ®™

We spent 14 days in this wonderful hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very varied and very tasty. Every day there was homemade cake, also very tasty. Rooms clean and tidy. We felt comfortable all around and have forbooked again next year. A very big thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

We had a small room at the back. It was very clean and was ready on time. The small drawback is the very small bathroom. Breakfast top, in buffet form. It would always be freshly refilled. What was absolutely great were the salads, including meat salad, herring salads with various dressings... the staff is great. We'd love to come back.
