We had the family room, was surprised how big it was! The bedsheets smelled good, the mattress and pillow super comfy. And everything seemed brand new and super clean.Best of all, we get wine for free for welcome drink, from the mini bar and at breakfast. 🥂

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable rooms, breakfast and next door restaurant were great. Staff looked after me and my partner (who had a cycling accident while we were in Germany) so well - couldn't have been more helpful.

I begged my wife to find one thing about this hotel that she’d change… and there was nothing. From the moment we checked in, we knew we were in for a special experience. Katherina was the most gracious welcoming party, not only congratulating us on our 21st anniversary, but also giving us drinks and explaining everything that will make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was beyond spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed Deinhard wine and a little nap on the patio. You can tell they really went the extra mile in designing the room… every detail down to the baseboards in the restroom were precise, and the view of the river was just the sweetest icing on an incredible cake. We were already in love with Bernkastel-Kues, and now we know where we’ll stay & send friends/family for future long-stays. This hotel is unbeatable.

The room was great. The shower floor was slippery. I fell in the shower (September 28). I broke my L-2 in my back. There was no grip bar, seat or mat to prevent this. I had surgery October 11. This could have been prevented.

Nice hotel. Quite expensive though. Great wellness area overlooking the vineyards. We stayed two nights and our room wasn’t cleaned so not sure if that was a mistake or not. Great breakfast but they could refill things quicker as many items were unavailable for 15+ minutes. Friendly staff.

A perfect place for visiting Bernkastel. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Lovely room with free minibar and view of the castle on the Hill which was lit at night. We only stayed 1 night and wished it had been more.

This hotel was amazing! It's right in the center of old town Bernkastel-Kues. We stayed in a family room since our 22 year old granddaughter was with us. The rooms were beautiful and she had her own little private space. Windows overlooked the Mosel. The complimentary sparkling water and wine in the fridge was a bonus. Welcome drinks are provided upon arrival and the hotel is basically a museum with beautiful statues and paintings. It was super clean and breakfast was great especially being able to look at the Mosel or vineyards while eating. Right around the corner is old town Bernkastel with a great restaurants and shopping. Perfect location. Can't wait to go back some day and will definitely choose this hotel again.

large airy quiet room comfortable bedThe wiring in room (131) needs finishing-exposed wires on side wallin view of the distance and complexity of route from car park to room assistance with the luggage and a map should be offeredthe door from the bridge leads to 3 steps with no warning and no hand rail--very awkward with luggage

We think that Bernkastel-Kues is the place to stay in the Mosel Valley and then after this stay the Deinhard's is the place to stay in Bernkastel-Kues. Brand new hotel with excellent facilities and a perfect location. …
