Lovely location (very quiet) and a great host. Breakfasts are amazing with a huge variety of delicious and fresh things to eat. Ildiko is very friendly and shares many tips on what to see or where to eat in the area.The only downside is that there is no outdoor area (balcony or a small table in the garden) for the guests.

We had a lovely stay in the place. Great suggestions of what to do in the area. You have to also try the homemade breakfast which gives you such a fresh start of the day. It is not only a place to stay while visiting the area but also a healing paradise where you are sure to be well taken care of both physically and mentally. Highly recommended!

The Mosel guesthouse is very well located for visiting the area. Fantastic bike roads along the river. Very well located for wine tasting. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who has a high sense of hospitality. She is also a great cook. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, all we need for restful nights. Our stay was enjoyable and for sure we will go again. Thanks

We had a pleasant stay at the Mosel Butterfly over Easter Weekend. The room was very well decorated albeit a bit dark due to the lack of windows and there were spiderwebs on the stone walls. Our room also had a connecting door to the cellar where she kept spare furniture, we heard some sounds from there during the night which was a bit scary. The bathroom was connected to the room by very narrow and difficult stairs which was not very convenient. The service was alright but nothing exceptional. We were suggested many activities but without a car, we were limited to taking a very long boat ride which was quite boring to a nearby town to explore and visiting the nearby wineyards. I would not recommend going to this area if you don't have a car despite our host generously driving us to the hotel from the train station as the activities nearby do require driving to.

stayed there with my partner for a couple of nights and really excellent service! Ildi made us breakfast herself every morning and accommodated to us being vegetarian! the rooms are super cute and i love that they all have different personalities! Ildi also recommended different vineyards and restaurants around, she even told us about a spa which we visited and it was amazing! Thank you Ildi for being a conscientious host, we already booked our next stay!:)

Wonderful place, clean, spacious rooms, delicious, varied breakfast, easy parking, you didn't have to think much about the programs, the host organizes everything upon request, very friendly, direct and helpful. And the wine...even wine flows from the tap, since this is a characteristic of the place, it was not difficult to tune in to the culture there:) I warmly recommend it to families, couples, groups of friends, everyone will surely find their physical and mental happiness here: )

We went to the wine festival and stayed in the Mosel Butterfly Apartment with friends. He was a very nice time. We felt very comfortable at Ildiko and are thrilled by the hospitality. All rooms had their own charm. If we plan another short trip to the Moselle, we would like to come back to the Mosel Butterfly.
