We used the accommodation on the Neckar cycle path, made a reservation by phone and cannot confirm the bad impressions. We received a friendly welcome, the room is large and clean. A sparkling brand new refrigerator was also available. Great for cyclists who like to look after themselves. The furnishings from the 70s are certainly not contemporary, but they are also original and everything was intact, clean and functional. The breakfast was completely fine, we were even offered a daily newspaper. The family and the team do their best to provide good accommodation even for those with smaller budgets. The much-quoted roof terrace is really phenomenal, was also tidy and usable, unfortunately not as inviting as the banks of the Neckar when it was over 35 degrees. We'd love to come back.

If anyone is looking for an adventure vacation, this is the right place!First you ring the bell, then the really nice housekeeper, who unfortunately doesn't speak any German, comes and says: "Come with me, boss"Then you go to the second floor and are with the “boss” who is having lunch.Dirty pants aside, he's very nice.Key is downstairs or in the cupboard!Very, very cheap, but we didn't try the room or the breakfast!

Very old-fashioned in the furnishings, an extremely strange smell hits your nose as soon as you enter the entrance.The staff barely understands German, which makes communication very difficult. The prices are a matter of opinion. Personally, I think they are too expensive considering the overall condition of the hotel.

After visiting over 55 countries and in all federal states, we were happy not to be influenced by negative reviews. Mr. Thum (85) and his team do a very good job and for the benefit of the guests! Although the Neckarblick is getting old, there was nothing to complain about during our stay in terms of size and cleanliness. Breakfast was also completely sufficient. Price and performance are completely in harmony. We would definitely come back.

Rooms very unclean and outdated, baseboards loose, dust flies under and in the ribs of the radiators. Bed and breakfast in place.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station. Our room with bathroom was large and clean. The mattress good. Nothing was missing from the breakfast buffet. The team is friendly. The furnishings and bathrooms are from the 70s and 80s. That's what makes the price so cheap. We really liked it!

Inquiry about accommodation for wedding guests. The telephone operator was extremely uninterested and gave me the impression that my inquiry (i.e. potential business) was annoying. It was probably better that way.

Our room was clean. However, the guesthouse is already very old, so you can't expect much luxury. But overall it was okay for the price.
