We have been coming to the Kastanienhof for 7 years now and we couldn't imagine going on vacation to any other farm. We really like it. Heike and Kurt Krämer are really warm and nice and you feel totally comfortable here. The rooms are nicely furnished, tidy and clean and you have a nice view of the paddock. You can really relax as the farm is in a very quiet location. But you're still not too remote. A supermarket can be reached in two minutes on foot and there is a thermal bath in the immediate vicinity of the town. Heidelberg is also easy to reach for a trip by car. But if you just want to stay on site with your family, you can, for example. B. go on a trip with the farm's own ponies. But there are not only ponies here, but also chickens, the two cats Madita and Ida and of course the farm dog Ayla. And in the Reiterstübchen you can play billiards, darts or table football to pass the time. We will definitely come back here in the next few years.

We really had a really nice time here with our 2 year old son! The selection of activities is really incredible: horse riding, trampoline jumping, our own playground, our own soccer field, a great hobby room with a pool table and table football, lots of great vehicles for the children with a large yard, barbecue area, etc. Our son still talks about the great farm dog, the horses +Ponies, the rabbits and of course the chickens! The apartment was clean and really cozy. Thank you for the lovely and relaxing time.

Great holiday on a beautifully designed, old holiday farm.Very cozy apartments lovingly furnished. Super helpful host parents who fulfill almost every wish. We've been here several times and it's like coming home, the vacation can begin right away. A paradise with children with lots of animals and opportunities to play. Also great for cycling and hiking. Always happy 😁

The Kastaniehof has an incomparable flair thanks to its half-timbered structure and courtyard. You immediately feel at home there, because the Krämer family is also extremely nice. The holiday apartments are furnished with great attention to detail and it is almost as if you were coming home. There is a lot to discover, as all sorts of animals live on the farm and there are plenty of opportunities for discovery and play, especially for younger guests. Well-being is taken care of here and nothing is missing. I really enjoy being at the Kastanienhof and would always recommend a trip here.

When we went to the Kastanienhof for the first time three years ago, we liked it so much that we have spent a week's holiday there every year since then. The Krämer family is really nice and the apartments are cozy. And farm dog Ayla is a show in itself anyway. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Kastanienhof.

Very nice holiday apartment on a rustic, cozy farm with lots of animals. Animal and family friendly. Here you can still find hospitality instead of economy! Great environment and very beautiful landscape. Varied, not very crowded and still affordable, in contrast to other holiday areas.

And once again the reception of us and two horses at the Kastanienhof was extremely warm, even though we had to spontaneously change our route on our ride from the Main to the Necker because of the weather. It was no question for Heide and her husband to mark out a paddock for the horses at short notice, provide us with the riding arena and drive us - soaking wet as we were - to a hotel because their apartments were occupied. Had relaxing days here with our little son, he liked the animals and the paddling pool! The surrounding area invites you to take long walks in the forest :)! Great location, within walking distance of the supermarket. The only small drawback: it was over 30 degrees during the day and then it was a bit hot under the roof at night.
