Great place with unfriendly managementMonths ago we had reserved for four nights, but later we heard that the first night "our" apartment was used by others and we were offered a bigger apartment for the same price. Really friendly! We had written that we could not arrive before 13.00 hrs, but we were assured that a later arrival was no problem, they would still be busy clearing up after a festival the day before. So we were unpleasantly surprised when the manager acted as if he was insulted that we arrived hours after 13.00hrs.My wife went to the guesthouse manager the next morning and then heard that we could stay in the same apartment. Great! But he acted angrily because she was there at 5 minutes before 10, which was the official opening time of his office. So, next morning I waited until 10.30hrs to enter the man's office with "Good day!"in my best German (I am Dutch). The manager was strangely unfriendly. I asked about a possible wine tasting (and buying) but that was only for a minimum of 10 people. Our TV set was put on black - possibly my own mistake - but he stubborn;y refused to help me. After I left his office he locked the door behind me although his office was officially open until 12 o'clock.Maybe the man was still overworked by the big "rock and wine" festival on saturday but it was a very unfriendly contact.

We had a wonderful stay at Weingut Sonnenberg in Bad Neuenahr. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The wines were also incredibly delicious - we highly recommend trying them while exploring the Ahr region. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly worthy of a five-star review.

One of the best small campers campings I have ever been to. Especially for wine lovers. Also very clean and neat. I recommend!

Great winery... not so much because of the whine (which is amazing) but because of the owner and the courses on whine he offers. The amount of Know-how here is amazing - and it’s presented with excellence and a high Entertainment factor. Love it! Thanks!

We were there too and wouldn't go there again due to the unfriendliness of the operator, even though the place was nice. It's interesting to read here that you now get 1 bottle of wine for a 5 star review. I also find it very strange that the operator asks reviewers to change reviews from 4 to 5 stars or otherwise delete them.I think that when there are more RV parking spaces in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler soon, it will be difficult for the operator if no one comes anymore because of his very unfriendly nature.Answer:Your answer to my review is strange, because we didn't buy any wine elsewhere and disposed of empty bottles with you. We came to the Ahr Valley to hike and not to buy wine.In addition, we weren't unfriendly, but unfortunately we waited 3/4 hour and asked 3 times in the winter to find out where we could stand.

We had booked a wine tasting and a wine hike (as the first group to do both together😆) and it was great! Marc is a great host and has tremendous expertise! The wines are consistently fantastic, with our winner being the Pinot Noir (No. 16).The campsite is nice and clean. Registering and paying in advance makes sense. There are many great bars and restaurants all around. Thanks for the great time! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🍷🍷🍷Edit: After reading some negative comments here... no we didn't get a bottle of wine for the good review. There were 14 of us and we all agreed. We even talked to Marc about bad reviews. You should always hear both sides! ☝🏽

We stayed at the winery for a weekend in the motorhome. Great pitch, clean sanitary facilities, delicious wine, close to visiting the town and close to walking in the vineyards. Can only be recommended!

In itself a reasonable parking space, which is marred by the fact that the owner is completely unfriendly and sometimes even cheeky. Many of the good reviews are not honest as you get a free bottle of wine if you give 5 stars.

We were passing through and were looking for a nice place to stay for a night or two. There was a sign asking you to register and pay the bill before entering the place.Unfortunately there was no one there.A Polish employee made it clear to me with his hands and feet that the boss was coming soon. So wait. After 15 minutes and 4 unsuccessful attempts to reach him by phone, the idea came to stand in one of the free places (the occupancy plan on the internet indicated this) and then wait.We were also strongly advised against this, as the “boss” would probably be very moody, unfriendly and harsh. After another 5 minutes we left. The place was nice for a night or two, but when no one is there. Very unfortunate. If you offer such places, you should at least be reachable by phone and be a little more flexible. And no bottle of wine for a good review. So it doesn't get 5 stars.
