Lodging is ok, a TV in every room . Breakfast typical Bayern pension breakfast. There is a decent restaurant next doors. Only cash.Google maps for navigation does not indicate this place correctly, this place' entrance is easy to miss. Its the narrow gate just before the road curves, the parking is thru the narrow gate.If you reach past 5 PM, you need to get the keys from the grandma next doors. ( ask at the hotel gast zur post, they will guide you). You see this as a small gray building that is adjacent to this place on Google maps. There is no WiFi connection provided. They have a couple of shy , friendly and quiet German Shepherds on the campus. The herd of horses are good, but the horses are a bit wild and only for experienced folks Do not recommend for beginners, but if you have 70 hours of prior riding experience, definitely takes one to the next level. The great part about riding here is that once you set out in the morning, you have your lunch outside in the restaurant in the mountains and ride back in the evening. So 4 hours of riding completely in the trails. They do not focus on the rider grooming the horses for long, so for an inexperienced rider this can be unnerving and also for experienced ones who need more time to bond with the horses. The guide for the Fortgeschrittene (Experienced) groups on both days were good. If one needs to move to an experienced riding with horses that are a bit wild, where one needs to learn real riding and show leadership, this place is recommended.Breakfast is Ok and lunch is in a restaurant on the trail (do carry Cash for lunch). Dinner at Gast zur Post next doors (its ok).The riding trails are real beautiful, with Llama ranches along the way

Western reiten und relaxen. We are a family with2 young children and a baby. Tina and Sep welcomed us as family. The horses are great and the relaxed atmosphere helps everyone to have a good time.Everyone got the right horse according to the riding skills. The forest is beautiful, even for our 5 year old son they found the right horse and let him try it out making him feel safe and explained why he was only having a ride in the arena. All in all a great hidden pearl in Bayern.

I went to the Habereder riding stable with my parents on June 22nd-25th. When we arrived we were greeted warmly. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Booking a spontaneous dinner was also easy. A very nice riding stable with many horses. I was so fascinated by the Andalusia horses because they were all so sweet and trusting. The day's outing as a group was really nice with a short break in between and then at lunchtime we rode back to the farm. Overall, the weather in the Bavarian Forest was much nicer than at home.It was a very nice experience to go on a day ride. It was nice to relax on the farm and excursions outside are about 30-45 minutes away. The drinks in the salon are also really cheap and it's worth investing (from) €1.50 because you won't get a cheaper drink in a restaurant. Overall, it was just nice to be away from home and just take a vacation at the riding stable and pet the horses and take photos as a souvenir. The hosts' two German Shepherds are also super sweet and well behaved.

We have been enjoying going to the Habereders for 6 years. The farm is lovingly designed and the horses are clearly doing well there. The rides in the Bavarian Forest are fantastically beautiful, the horses are absolutely sure-footed and well-behaved.The room furnishings are not luxurious, but perfectly adequate and clean. You're outside all day anyway!Sepp and Tina warmly welcome us back every year; we feel as if we have always been here. The sometimes rough, Bavarian tone shouldn't be misunderstood, that's not meant in a bad way ;) organized 30 people on 30 horses in such a short time, I think they're doing a great job! Everyone is assigned a horse that suits them, and Sepp and Tina look after it well. We'll come back again and again!

Absolutely recommended! Thank you for a wonderful weekend, the hosts grill/cook themselves in the evening, with homemade salads.Breakfast completely sufficient. The horses and the property are all well maintained. I can't understand bad reviews.Well... The saying: "As you shout into the forest, it screams back" is no coincidence. Thanks again, and we'll definitely come back a third time

Absolutely recommended. Great hosts, great value for money and great horses. Animal welfare comes first, two great rides in a fantastic setting. Our riding guide Angelika was very competent and personable.

We, an advanced rider and a beginner, had booked an introductory course over three days with two rides. We were super happy with the performance. The horses are totally well-behaved and calm. No matter which horse was there, they all brought the riders home safely and comfortably with lots of fun. My partner as a beginner was also safe on the assigned horses with me as an advanced rider with a little help from the advanced riders. The tours are very beautiful and you have plenty of time to enjoy the landscape during the rides. The canter routes are balanced and completely sufficient. The keeping in the beautiful, large open stables is great and the horses are doing very well there with so much freedom in the herd 24/7.In the evening the owners cook their own food, which is super tasty. It's very comfortable to sit in the saloon, everything is beautifully decorated in a rustic style. Super friendly hosts, riding guides and also nice guests. You feel like you're in a small family. We will be happy to come back, but then for longer.

The farm is small and family-run. The boss was very nice and friendly. The rest of the staff was rather cold and had a very rough tone. The rooms were old and unfortunately dirty - cobwebs, dirt on the floor. You get breakfast and dinner prepared by the boss. Breakfast is rather spartan, it's enough, but you shouldn't expect too much. The ride itself was quite nice. The preparation wasn't - everything was very hectic, the riding guide quickly explained what had to be done and you could almost see where all the stuff for cleaning, saddling, etc. was in the stable. Hardly anything was explained and when you asked again the answer was very blunt. The location was very quiet, 15 minutes by car from Eginger See.

The two of us were there for a day ride (no overnight stay). The communication in advance went smoothly, quick and friendly information via email. As advanced riders, we absolutely got our money's worth. A short general briefing, horse classification (experienced companies actually estimate very well within a few moments) and then we started getting ready independently. Questions were answered readily, but of course you also expect a certain degree of independence from advanced students - and rightly so! In any case, our horses were extremely rideable and easy to ride, assessed the sometimes challenging terrain well and thought well in tricky areas. The equipment was neat and comfortable. If you know how, an absolutely great riding experience. Some people may have to judge their own abilities (at least in the advanced group).A small suggestion for improvement would be clearer communication during the ride (how do you cross a street, what commands are there, what does the group do when a horse goes dead, etc.) - of course that should work in a group like this, but there is security in them Procedures if you've never been there before.

If you're looking for a nice break on horseback, you've come to the right place. The farm is really very quiet in a small village with a beautiful view of green meadows. Sepp and Tina are great hosts and we could contact them at any time if we had any questions or problems. The horses are also absolutely top: reliable, sure-footed and simply know what they are doing. The rides are really wonderful, you stop for a lunch break at inns with delicious food or get catering organized by Tina.We were in the group of experienced riders and rode beautiful routes with great gallops (which weren't plentiful, but were completely sufficient). The routes are partly very mountainous and are a real and wonderful adventure that the sure-footed horses master reliably.I have now been to Sepp a second time with two beginners. Angelika, the rider of the beginner group, is really fantastic. She takes her time with everyone, is understanding and guides you through the great terrain wonderfully. You receive riding lessons before the rides and are prepared for everything. The rooms were clean and totally served their purpose. All in all, a really great farm with top horses and an unbeatable price-performance ratio. We'll definitely be back this year!
