On the way back from Bernkastel-Kues back to Wittlich, I stopped off at this charming restaurant. I sat outside and it was very pleasant beside a running stream. I did not venture inside so do not know how it would look in Winter. …

Salad full of grit (how hard is it to wash lettuce?) and drowning in a tasteless dressing.Schnitzel soggy, undercooked, and bland. Fries flavouful, but also undercooked.Burger was OK.The location is nice in summer, and dogs are allowed on the terrace.

We arrived at this hotel to be greeted by Thomas and quickly given our keys to the rooms. Rooms are furnished with lovely antique furniture plus rooms are well sized. …

Since the bed is the most important thing for me i can only give 2 stars for the staffs willingness and the very nice rooms. However as seen in the photos the bed is of very bad quality. You could feel the springs from the mattress in your back. A shame for a hotel with such a nice view and nice overall building. Breakfast was a joke too. Some cheese, and slices of meat and an egg. Safety and path to the main entrance was also messy.

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were welcomed by Thomas and shown quickly to our rooms located upstairs by the building next to the restaurant. Good sized rooms furnished with antique furniture all rooms very clean. Eating was fantastic fresh produce and not a complicated menu with too many choices we enjoyed several dishes thoroughly recommend the schnitzel wine handler. Vegetables and salads come direct from the garden beside the outside eating area which has a lovely small river running alongside the restaurant. Breakfast was great a nice variety of rolls, cold meats, cheeses, jams, orange juice, hard boiled egg. Petra the host was a wonderful friendly woman running an excellent small hotel along with a very popular restaurant helped by Thomas they made our stay so much fun and enjoyable we did not want to leave. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed a 3 night - half board deal in this great place! Has a great green location, about 10 min by car to the Mosel river. Also the nice roman city of Trier is about 30min away. …

Great place to relax and hang out! Perfect for a weekend getaway! They worked hard to have a really good hygiene concept and everything was clean and disinfected.

Nice rooms, however the personnel is really rude! Check out time is until 11:00 but they came complaining at 10:30 that we didn’t leave. Can’t recommend it at all. Overall bad experience! Stay away from this place.
