The house itself is good but though a little bit old. But great renovation were being made.It is a great place for the group travels and group seminars because it is a big place for varieties of activities.Below are some of the views the hotel will give you when looking through the window on the second last floor.

Martinfeld Castle is a place that has impressed me and all my guests from near and far. We had a family reunion and birthday party last weekend. The rooms are ideally equipped for families or youth groups, the bathrooms are very large and newly renovated, and the dining room and kitchen are excellently equipped for large groups.The historic furnishings and flair of the building are really outstanding; the newly laid parquet is a great work of art that you can't get enough of.The outdoor area leaves nothing to be desired and has 3 terraces, a brick barbecue, 3 forest taverns, a campfire area with a great view, a playground, mini golf, a soccer field and a huge meadow for camping, parking, etc. and offers endless possibilities of use and you can also have many guests have a really relaxing time. Some rooms are even barrier-free and have a private bathroom. A beautiful vaulted cellar and a games cellar with table football and table tennis offer enough space even for cold days.All of this is crowned by the castle lord, who has always reliably, patiently and competently solved any problems we caused.The area is ideal for hiking, there are swimming pools nearby and the Eichsfeld pilgrimage towns (e.g. Klüschen Hagis) are worth a visit.We would like to thank you very much that this great property is open for great events!

A simple youth hostel in beautiful historic walls with a vaulted cellar and spiral staircases. Unfortunately, the attic urgently needs to be sealed and insulated. Guys, contact the hostel manager and donate to maintain the little castle!

A very beautiful building. The garden is spacious. Barbecue area and plenty of seating are available.Unfortunately, the ravages of time also take their toll on the table tennis tables that have been set up. They haven't been playable for a long time. It is a youth hostel with 3 to 4 double bunk beds per room. There are enough sleeping options available. You have to bring your own bed linen. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better, our beds were full of sand and dirt and had to be cleaned first. Maybe our room was the exception. The sanitary facilities are very clean and renovated. Self-catering, the large kitchen is available with all equipment. Large dining room. When you book you have the castle to yourself. All in all, it's still a nice place to stay. Here the memories of the holiday camp come back.
