Many thanks to the Knobel couple for the lovely stay. My girlfriend and I chose this guesthouse so that we could start hiking straight away without a car. The breakfast was great, you don't get something like this at home. From sausage, cheese, cakes, fruit, orange juice, eggs, jam, etc. there was a large selection. The hiking trails around Roßbach were fun and the nature was impressive (huge cowslip meadows, orchids, juniper bushes). The room was well furnished (hairdryer, towels, TV). We can only recommend this guesthouse and would be happy to come back.

The food there is very tasty and the service is very friendly. In my opinion the prices are absolutely fair.The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but still very clean. Just like everything in this inn is clean.There is also something for younger guests.If we're ever in the area again, we'll eat there. A very clear recommendation.

Super lovely host family. We were there for a week at the end of May with 9 people. We were able to park our motorcycles in the former barn 👍. You can sit outside in the courtyard.At night it is absolutely quiet and pitch black.The food was good and special requests were taken into account. Prices were very cheap. The rooms are rustic, simple and clean. I'm already looking forward to my next vacation there!

Good, owner-managed village restaurant with very friendly service. I can recommend the restaurant if you are in the area. Ideal for the start or end of a hike.My wife had schnitzel with fries and paprika sauce. On Sundays there was also homemade potato soup, a side salad and a mousse for dessert. I had roulades with red cabbage and dumplings. There was also starter soup, salad and dessert. We enjoyed both dishes. We'd love to come back.

We chose the linden tree as a home base for our motorcycle tour. An absolute hit. Nice hosts, courteous and helpful. Even Ramses the cat greets the guests with a cozy purr. The dishes are tasty, sufficiently large and varied. Whatever is on the menu is also there. Special requests are happy to be fulfilled. The rooms are a bit older, but were clean and more than sufficient for our needs. Small flat screen TV and well-functioning WiFi on top of that. Highly Recommended.

The three of us recently went there for dinner. I had calamari, fries and salad. The food was very tasty, the sauce on the salad based on an old Hessian recipe was excellent. Gladly again.
