A little out of the way, family winery with a few guest rooms. Large inviting garden and good but simple rooms. Parking spaces in the yard. The owners always take great care of their guests and if you stay overnight there is a cozy breakfast with homemade jam. Charging bikes is no problem. They stay safe in the large garage overnight. Great service for guests: a wine fridge with all wines, all of which are organic with a few exceptions. Excellent in taste. Recommend you came without any problems.

The winery is about 10 minutes by car from Bernkastel. There are two restaurants within walking distance, we went to one of them, recommended by the Fries family, and the food was very tasty.We stayed in the apartment and are very satisfied with it. The kitchen is not big, but it is fully equipped, so you definitely don't have to rely on restaurants nearby. The living/bedroom is very large and well furnished. In addition to a bed, there is also a sofa bed, wardrobe and dining table. The terrace is also great with a very nice view of the vineyards. Overall the apartment is clean and tidy.The price-performance ratio is definitely right here, especially since a good breakfast is included in the price.The atmosphere is very familiar and you can move around freely on the beautiful grounds and sit down wherever you want. As at most wineries, there is a refrigerator with your own wines and glasses available. Guests are trusted to be fair, write down what they take and this will be accounted for when they leave.The wines are very tasty. We particularly liked “Auf der Schwarzley”.Overall, we can recommend the winery if you want a quiet break and it's no problem that you have to go almost everywhere by car or bike.

It's always nice to spend a holiday in a very quiet environment with the Fries family, very nice and lovely hosts.Very well maintained and bright rooms.Very tasty and plentiful breakfast in the small or large dining room or in the beautifully maintained garden, as a basis for an active day of hiking or cycling.The range of high-quality wines meets all requirements from dry to late selection.

We felt very comfortable! Very warm hosts, good breakfast, delicious wine, cleaner apartment and pretty garden! Ideal as a starting point for excursions on the Moselle or cycling holidays! Thank you for a very nice week!
