Below average food at a premium price. Steak (ordered medium) was tasteless and tough as an old boot. Wines are good but very pricey compared to similar wines in the region.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Location, building, rooms, terrace, food, service so, so right. Booking both a room and a meal are clearly essential as this jewel is extremely sought after .................and then you can buy the wines as well.......heaven! Such a pity we were only booked in for one night.

A real highlight on the Moselle! Everything is just right here: the food is absolutely delicious and is freshly prepared with love. We were particularly impressed by the excellent Moselle wine, which comes directly from the winemaker - it couldn't be better! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the location is fantastic with a beautiful view of the vineyards. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices are absolutely fair for the high quality you get here. An insider tip for anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We'd love to come back!

The guest house/restaurant is located directly on the Moselle, we had booked a room with a view of the Moselle in advance and I have to say it was a great stay there! The owners are super nice and fulfill every wish! The rooms are very clean and so is the bathroom! The guest house has 6 rooms which made the stay seem almost family-like! The boss is very friendly and always available for a chat! The restaurant is located below the rooms and the food is excellent at moderate prices! The wine comes from our own winery and is also excellent! The Moselle cycle path runs in front of the guest house, from where you can start your bike in any direction! Here I can recommend the town of Bernkastel Kues, a really great place with lots of half-timbered houses and wine bars! Thanks again to the owner Mr. Steinmetz and his son for this wonderful vacation with them!

Unfortunately we have a very bad experience with this tent!!We came from the Netherlands to eat here. When we came in they didn't have our reservation. Instead of looking for a solution together with the staff, we were received very mean and unkind by a young boy. We showed the telephone conversation that someone had indeed called for the reservation. We were called liars by the younger boy for not calling. There are much nicer tents in the area with much nicer staff, definitely don't go here!!

Were here for dinner. The location directly on the Moselle is very pleasant. The menu is relatively small, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. The dishes we chose, corn-fed chicken and grilled salmon, were very tasty. We also enjoyed the wines from the in-house winery, Pinot Noir from the barrique and Pinot Gris. The service is quick and attentive. We liked it, that's why we came here twice. A table reservation is recommended.

Very nice little guesthouse. Delicious breakfast, with fresh rolls from the bakery, good coffee, freshly prepared scrambled eggs or boiled eggs upon request. Delicious fruit salad. Food in the restaurant very good. We recommend further.

Had dinner with a group on the beautiful terrace. Friendly service, food was good. The entrance area looks irritating with barrier tape and a “Halt/Stop” sign, which seems like a warning. It's okay to register and be taken to the seat. But it can also be done in a more discreet or hospitable way - Corona regulations are no longer appropriate.

Very nice restaurant with attentive service. We can only recommend eating out, but please reserve in good time otherwise you won't get a seat. We also took wine with us the next day.
