Gasthof Buchner

Yesterday we had a family celebration at the Gasthaus Buchner. The food was excellent, from the salad starting with roast pork to the classic schnitzel, we were thrilled.Simply good in terms of taste and quality.The service was quick and extremely friendly.It's a pleasure to go there, big compliments to the kitchen, keep it up!!!

Stayed here on the way home from Croatia. The place is about 10 minutes from the highway. We were greeted by the boss who took us to our room and showed us everything relevant. There was even a recommendation to go out to eat, as the boss can unfortunately no longer manage the kitchen for health reasons. All in all a perfect stay in a very nice, very clean room and bathroom with access to the balcony. The bathroom is a bit old but everything is still in great order. By the way, the mattress was quite new and nice and firm. The only drawback: the location right next to the church. Here the bells still ring every quarter of an hour and all night long. It certainly made sense until the middle of the last century, but today? Oh man! For breakfast: Everything was top notch, from fresh bakery rolls to cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, vegetables and fruit, everything was there. The very friendly service who prepared the breakfast tried very hard to make everything right for us! Full praise!!!

We stayed there overnight on our way from vacation, otherwise we would have had to drive through for almost 12 hours, which would have been quite tiring. Accordingly, expectations were low. We were even more positively surprised there.It started with our request for an overnight stay being processed and confirmed very quickly. We also received quick and helpful answers to any questions that arose later at the email address provided, something that many other companies often don't do.The owner personally welcomed us warmly and pleasantly.I don't know what the occupancy situation otherwise looks like (e.g. in the middle of the high season), but there was the option of parking both in front of the house and in the courtyard and we were allowed to choose whether we wanted a room facing the church or the courtyard - because Unfortunately, as in many places in the state, the bells ring several times an hour and often throughout the night. We were happy that we were able to choose the courtyard, where it was much quieter.The room was very well maintained and clean, there is plenty of storage space for more luggage if necessary and our room even had a bathroom with a nice bathtub with a shower partition. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. There was even a small chocolate bar on each half of the pillow, something that many people no longer have. The balcony and the inner courtyard provide the opportunity to sit comfortably outside with a drink. It's an old building and the last major renovation was probably over 40 years ago, but the interior of the rooms is quite new and the bathroom fittings are probably too, at least in our case there were no major signs of wear.We also had a little book exchange system in the hallway. Nice idea.Regarding the food situation:Unfortunately, since the owner doesn't have any waiting staff, you have to pick up the drinks directly from him. It is important to mention that there is unfortunately no hot kitchen there at the moment because the owner and her husband are older and unfortunately she can no longer manage it alone and it is difficult to find a successor who really puts their heart and soul into it " might. You can tell that it's a big deal here because of the lovely atmosphere there, so it was a bit of a shame, but we were able to eat something delicious nearby.They have sincerely apologized for this several times.The next morning a delicious and lovingly prepared breakfast awaited us, where everyone could get their money's worth. The very friendly lady who served it offered us a coffee before the time we had chosen and kept asking if we needed anything else. The floor on which the plates with fresh ingredients such as sausage, cheese and fresh vegetables stood ensured that we didn't always have to get up to eat. Great solution. She also gave us a nice personal farewell.You can pay by card here and breakfast is included in the room price. The costs seem very fair to us since we had to pay more for more things to complain about.It was a great experience. Gladly again! :)

I really enjoyed one night in the inn. I felt completely looked after here. We immediately used the dry bicycle parking spaces. The dinner (good home-style) and the breakfast (varied) in the inn were very rich and tasty. I would come back at any time.
