Never again on this houseboat. It wasn't nice for us.We had booked 3 nights and left after one night and looked for other accommodation.Apparently it was cleaned before we arrived. We didn't notice anything... it was terrible.

We were on the Helena in mid-August. At the new berth there is a height difference of around one meter to get from the jetty to the houseboat. Steps or similar. None. So not for weak hips. There are also no fly screens in the roof hatch and windows. This means spiders, beetles etc. have free access. There are no shelves for clothes, cleaning materials, the garden chairs were rusty and dirty. We had technical problems with the on-board electrical system. As a result, we had no water and no flush toilet on the last day. The owner's "team" (cleaning company and harbor master) were of course not responsible. It probably wasn't clear to them that they were on the team either. We left a day early. The owner did not respond to any attempts we made to contact her. Our recommendation: There are many other beautiful houseboats on the Schlei.

Yes, we were also on the Helena 2.0.For a week. It's okay that the weather at the beginning of August 2023 wasn't all that summery. We arrived and couldn't get on the boat, as promised. It was still being cleaned. Also fine. But... after a long journey you're not in such a heidewitzka mood.A welcome gift for the dog? He didn't find it. There probably wasn't one. Forget. Oh. Too bad.Flowers on the table? No. Those times are over. In addition, the table wobbles and then the vase tips over - better not.The coffee machine was - oh: broken. So we boiled our Senseo pads in the pot. Creativity is so simple. The list could be extended, and contact with the Helena owner was cool. Changing perspective is something you could try. We are not dissatisfied, but it was not as described. The Helena 2.0 is a tiny boat that is really cool and is moored in a formidable spot in the Schleswig city harbor. Equipment well thought out and valuable. However, it is sporty to climb the steep ladder in the evening to get to “bed”. Yeah. Climbing pole is even more difficult. That's correct! The dog didn't find a huge bone (others probably had it better), but he liked the boat.We had rough seas. Hello. Wind force 8. The beams cracked and the captain had some trouble staying on course. The tips in advance? By emailYes. Good. But.You can find out more yourself, the WiFi on board works great. CP.Conclusion: it was nice! And Mrs. H.?I'm sure you'll learn a lot in life.Good morning.

Absolutely recommended!I was lucky enough to be one of the first guests on Helena 2.0. 3 days were planned in April 2021 - on the old Helena - as an experience for me and as a test for my adorable Rotti Spike, who has original behavior and is very triggered by the water. Now it turned into a whole week because Helena 2.0 was only launched in July 2021. I just thought Heidewitzka, this could be a great vacation 😀. Except for me.I was taught better. Directions, parking near the port, luggage transport...everything is as simple as possible. Very nice port staff (is that how you say it?) Everyone really helped as best they could and the luggage was quickly stowed away and Professor Spike and I were on Helena - both dry.Everything smelled like wood. There was a bouquet of flowers on the table, roses and freesias, very loving...and lasted the whole week.Helena 2.0 in a first class location at the end of the floating jetty. You have a clear view on all 3 sides and when it got quieter in the harbor or early in the morning I felt like Robinson Crusoe - instead of Friday with Spike. The sun rose on the right hand and set beautifully on the left. In the morning there were still patches of fog over the water - you can become a bit of a romantic "scoundrel".The city harbor of Schleswig, like the old town and the Schlei region, also has a lot of beautiful things to offer. Culturally and culinaryly, nothing is left to be desired. The dog beach is less than 5 minutes away, as is the Königswiese - a very beautiful park. Not far is the Luisenbad with a beach bar. Nevertheless, I was happy to be embraced by the smell and peace of Helena again in the evening. Even the seagulls weren't too intrusive, no mosquitoes were annoying or I was too grounded. The furnishings are sustainable AND comfortable. Everything you need is there.Definitely try the tea...P. S. to Ms. Heinz - from whom I also finished "Auf Tauchstation" - yammi. 😉

We have a wonderful vacation with our dog Taco on the beautiful houseboat Helena 2.0spent. The location is ideal, at the end of the jetty with a great view of the Schlei. On the sun terrace we were able to enjoy the sunrise and the last rays of sunshine in the evening with a glass of wine. The information about checking in as well as excursion destinations and restaurants were sent to us in advance by email. Great organization. There was even a welcome gift for our dog (a giant bone). All in all a successful holiday on this wonderful boat.We would like to come back again.Sari, Andi with dog Taco

We had a super cozy long weekend on the houseboat Helena. Hygge at its best.Even in winter it is nice and warm on the houseboat, which is well equipped and has a fully functional bathroom. If you had any questions, Christine, the landlady, was easy to reach and booking was also easy. Christine also had great recommendations for Schleswig and the surrounding area. Highly recommended for this houseboat, which is furnished with great attention to detail and is also sustainable. We had a great time and would come on board again and again.
