As a family with a baby, we stayed in the architect's apartment. The apartment is very stylishly furnished and has a very cozy fireplace, especially for the winter months. We slept with the baby in the bedroom and the other could sleep on the very comfortable sofa bed in the living room. However, there would also have been the option of getting an extra bed.You are surrounded by one or two construction sites, but this doesn't have a major impact on your stay.In 20 minutes you can reach Saxon Switzerland by car and enjoy beautiful hiking trails with great views.

The holiday apartments are very quietly located in the middle of nature. The listed manor is currently being further expanded. We stayed in the sauna apartment. Everything was there and equipped to a high standard. The contact with the Hexenburg team was very friendly and available at any time if you had any questions.

We spent 3 great days in the maisonette apartment. The ground floor is super nice and cozy, upstairs there are 6 sleeping options and if you're traveling with children, that's definitely perfect. We needed 3 separate bedrooms for 4 adults. Our fellow traveler is just under 1.60 m,The bed in the separate room was long enough.Unfortunately, anyone over 1.70 m tall has a problem.Otherwise everything was great. Gladly again.

Quiet place in the rural area. Old manor. Uncomplicated processing of the stay. Holiday apartment fully equipped, large in size. Quiet neighbors, occasional hooves can be heard. Good local baker for fresh baked goods.

I spent the last few days at the Witch's Castle with my dog. The beautiful architect's apartment, with its whirlpool and sauna, was ideal for relaxing in the evening after a long and strenuous hike.If you had any questions, you could easily contact the Hexenburg team at any time.Because the witch's castle is located in the middle of fields and meadows, you can go for a walk right from the front door. All of our excursion destinations were within 25-45 minutes, which was also very pleasant! We had a very relaxing time and would love to come back!

A beautiful property in a great setting! We spent a relaxing week in the “architect’s apartment”. The apartment is well equipped and offers everything you need - you can feel a lot of attention to detail in the furnishings. The bathroom with sauna and whirlpool were wonderful, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils. We only missed a “real” dining table - in the apartment there is a bar attachment to the kitchen block with bar stools. The construction work on the witch's castle is still ongoing and can also be heard and seen. However, they had little impact on the stay. The Hexenburg team is very helpful and hospitable. The entire area offers so many possibilities and the region is definitely worth a visit!

We had a wonderful stay in the tiny house "between the ponds"! The surroundings are simply fantastic and offer a perfect backdrop for rest and relaxation. The contact with the hosts was extremely friendly and warm, which made our stay even more pleasant. The equipment in the tiny house is top notch – everything is new and modern. We particularly liked the terrace with the porch swing and lounge furniture. Here we were able to relax wonderfully and enjoy nature. The large natural swimming pond was the perfect way to cool off on hot days.A special highlight for our daughter was the riding lesson that she took at the Hexenburg Riding Center. In addition, fantastic hiking trails in Saxon Switzerland are only 20 minutes away, making the tiny house an ideal starting point for exploration. We would definitely like to come back and can only warmly recommend this wonderful place!

An unusual but beautiful accommodation. Despite the thick walls, it gets very warm in the rooms on warm days, but after late ventilation and a fan, the night becomes restful. Enough space for 6 people. In the cozy seating area in the inner courtyard you can watch the storks on the old chimney and the horses in the adjacent stable and end the day.

The Witch's Castle is a fantastic area - in the middle of meadows, fields and paddocks. Pure nature, just great for relaxing. We rented the largest apartment. It is comfortably furnished so that you immediately feel at home. A very well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom - nothing was missing. Our two four-legged friends were also very welcome here, the walks are on the doorstep.Contact with the Hexenburg team is very uncomplicated and extremely nice. We'd love to come back.P.S.: A lot of things are still being renovated and restored - but that didn't bother us at all!
