Amazing location, beautiful barn in the countryside. The interior design of both the rooms and the restaurant is beautiful! If there is one thing - we were there in September 2022 and it was slightly cold in the room in the evening, but nothing that would stop me from returning!Food - simple ingredients turned into delicious meals! My favourite was the cauliflower with cheese sauce, I still think about it sometimes, but in general all courses were really delicious. Same goes for the very simple but very delicious breakfast on the next day - makes it obvious that when you have the right ingredients less is more. Probably my favourite food experience of the year overall, but that might also be influenced by the two super cute dogs. The staff was super nice!I highly recommend this place!

It's a litte country-shabby-chic hotel-restaurant. And it's a very special place in the woods. The reception and stuff was wonderful. The food is ab bit special. …

We were a group of 5 and had the most beautiful stay. We arrived in the afternoon and han sunset drinks in the garden and then dinner. The dinner was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I've ever had. The food was delicious, the service was casual but very attentive and the dining space was so warm and inviting. The rooms are very beautiful. The small house off the main building has perfect light, great bedding and a relaxing bathtub with a beautiful outlook over the farm.

This place is a treasure. If you like fine dining but based on solid down to earthiness. That’s the place you should go to. I recommend to stay a night as well and to enjoy the easy but very fine breakfast. The cuisine is excellent. The chef is cool. The team is on point when you appreciate elegant reserve. So I would recommend this place for a great weekend trip to all who might ask.

Absolutely delightful experience. For foodies and nature lovers, this is a great weekend getaway trip from Berlin where you can enjoy hiking and have a fine dining experience. The owner / chef served 4-5 course menu made from ingredients in his garden. Each dish was exquisite. Highly recommend spending the night at the barn if you are traveling. Next day breakfast was outstanding. All-n-all good value for the money

Not sure what some other commenters are talking about, the service was excellent, friendly and attentive yet down to earth. Food was delicious. If you are super hungry I would add the extra dishes. The property is really beautiful and perfect as a city getaway.

The food is good especially considering the modest pricing. The service however is indefensible. There is no greeting, no goodbye and everything in between is worse. Patrons are being rudely and loudly ‘educated’ on their food allergies, repeatedly wrong orders were served and no hospitality displayed whatsoever. The staff truly has neither joy nor aptitude in hosting and I have rarely felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. This was echoed by the customers around the table and I’ll definitely tell friends to stay away. It’s the kind of attitude that one experienced in ‘hipster’ locations around the world 15 years ago when poorly trained staff thought they were the main event. The only funny part was when the bad server constantly mispronounced Veltliner and felt very fancy about it. But at least he talked at all, the girl didn’t even bother to engage. She was short of dumping the plate on the table. She also neglected customers, I really wonder how much tip she passed up by her inattentiveness. Very sad for the region as this could have been something. We truly were excited to come here, what a letdown.

We absolutely loved the dinner and the breakfast. An amazing gateway from Berlin. The wine selection is also very impressive. The only thing is that it is NOT worth taking the most expensive room, as it is huge but not cozy at all. No place to hangout or read a book. The space is super empty and had only 1 armchair, not even a couch!!The food experience is great though :) thank you!

If you live close enough, this should be your no.1 spot for a romantic weekend.||The rooms are cosy and are heated by an open pine fire (the smell is incredible). …
