My wife and I spent a few days in this hut and we had an incredible time. When we came back, we suggested this place to all our friends. It had excellent access and you could breathe and live in the pristine nature there. Everything about the hut was great. We had brought food for ourselves, but there was some food in the hut like canned food, rise, pasta, spices and etc. In general, we felt like we were in our own home, it was very comfortable, we highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back again.

My stay at the Mühle was great. Very comfortable and cozy Airbnb; really nice location in a ravine surrounded by wilderness, right on the edge of Rathewalde. Even in the summer it got a bit cold in the sleeping area, but blankets were provided and kept me warm. I would recommend this as a place to stay while hiking the Malerweg.

Very nice area, although there was only one waitress who seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food was really not cheap, there was no roll for the bockwurst as stated, only very dry bread, the solyanka was quite sour, so that you got a lot of heartburn afterwards. The meat was also mysteriously completely gone by lunchtime. At least the latte macchiato was relatively ok, only the biscuit with it had an aroma like foot.

After the hike we stopped at the mill. Oh dear... I'm sorry but... the beer mats stay stuck to your hand, windows were last cleaned in a 1700 snowstorm,... no matter what you touch, it's just dirty. The lemonade was excellent and that's why it got 3 stars. There can be a toilet opposite, but just use a cleaning cloth and you can bring light into your great hall.

Great location... The area is amazing. This makes up for the higher prices there.Food was nothing special. But it was still nice.

Small, cozy restaurant with a small menu that offers nice snacks and drinks for the hungry hiker. Especially on warm summer days you can sit on the terrace, protected from the sun between high rock walls, pleasantly cool.It is also possible to rent one of the two holiday apartments. However, I cannot judge the quality of these.
