Friendly staff. One room had a broken bed with tape holding it together. Heat went out and no hot water the next morning for a shower and the wifi never worked.

We stayed here for a holiday with many children. The services offered by the hotel were great, they provided lunch and breakfast and the rooms were all very personalized.

DO NOT BOOK!!PAY- Prices were non-transparent and disproportionately high.SERVICE- Service staff completely exhausted, unpleasantly pushy, not respectful- Welcome conversation was more of an interrogation- does not respect food requests- does not read messages that she has explicitly requested.- warm water is considered an extra bonus (boiler is only turned on after we explicitly said "yes, we need warm water to shower after hiking all day." And no, we didn't go to the swimming pool to shower. ")- Privacy is not respectedEQUIPMENT / FURNITURE- The broken toilet bowl in the rented room didn't bother the owner, but because of the broken TV she wanted to get us a bigger room, which would probably have cost more.- Rooms in need of renovation- Furniture is getting old- it smells like an old house (musty)- old dusty woven carpets everywhere in the house- Mattress was too wide for the bed frame- Bed linen didn't seem to be washed - and if it was, it had been a long time ago.- one of the cushions resembled a seat cushion on a bench (completely flat and hard)- Room size was ok- neglected garden; not suitable for relaxing (we only found two very outdated folding chairs on which we waited until warm water was available)FOOD UNEASY- Incompatibilities were ridiculed- after the food was prepared with coughing, it was not edible for that reason alone. The “mushroom cream sauce” was a completely over-seasoned soup-like porridge.- At breakfast we were served, among other things, unrefrigerated yogurt and dried out mozzarella.GENERAL ATMOSPHERE- spooky decoration including spider webs- very dark inside- we were the only guests (creepy) apart from an ominous private guest who she mentioned several times (even scarier) - we then barricaded the door at night.CONCLUSIONWhat a horror house.Owner should definitely look for another job.

Never again !When we walked up, the hottellier first had to check which room was available. The front light didn't work. The furniture had a layer of dust on it, the television (tube television) didn't work and the curtains were too short for the window, which means you can't sleep in without sunglasses. The bed linen was probably freshly washed, but I think it had been there for a while because it didn't smell fresh. Shortly after > we stopped having breakfast because we simply left as quickly as possible.

The hotel refuses to accept us as hikers in the pouring rain, even though a confirmation had been given shortly beforehand. Completely soaked, we have to continue walking - an absolutely outrageous attitude. The hotel is definitely not recommended every tired mark is wasted. Hospitality nil.

Very acceptable for a short visit. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's an absolutely solid place to stay for €44. Nice owner who is very interested in making her visitors' stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are very old but still very clean. Would sleep there again.

We stayed at the Hotel Sternen for 4 nights over New Year's Eve 2017/2018 and were very satisfied. Every special request was fulfilled, the owner was very accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The room was spacious and each room is individually decorated, which gives it a special charm. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient. The food in the restaurant was also delicious and the prices are reasonable. We'd love to come back :)
