We visited for dinner and it didn't disappoint!! I had the schnitzel with extra red cabbage. My partner had a giant pork knuckle with potato dumplings. We shared the delicious black forest cake.Good location and pleasant waiting staff. The menu is in German so we used Google translate.

Went on the Rothaus brewery tour, didn't go into the hotel. The brewery tour was excellent, the tour guide went out of his way to make sure all non German speaking people got to know what was happening on the tour. Very good shop and the beer was great.

The food is delicious, the staff are very nice, especially the Hungarian waitress. One point minus only for the service: the service is only outside in nice weather. When we were there it was 14-15 degrees with wind and rain, but they wouldn't let us eat inside...

Rooms are great. There is what they call a guesthouse a few hundred meters away. Rooms are very good there. In the main building the rooms have a glass walled shower and are very comfortable. Mini bar containing still water and beer is inclusive. Do get a view into the bottling of the beer which can be observed from outside through large windows. Remarkable place and a very good restaurant.

Service was generally okay. Though when I asked the waiter to pack my food, he said he would only bring the box for me and I had to pack it myself. They also didn't provide and don't have cutlery for us to take away. The waiter asked if i dont have cutlery at home. I'm sure there're many tourists who don't have ready access to cutlery in their hotel rooms.......Grilled pork leg was good. Asparagus soup was quite diluted.I found the food expensive.

We booked a two night break here during our holidays as we have visited the brewery before and thought it was wonderful. The room was very specious, very comfortable and had a lovely modern finish. We had a set menu meal both nights and were definitely not left disappointed (or hungry). The menu was 4 courses with a choice of main. The food was beautiful, fresh and seasonal and beers were recommended to accompany although you can of course pick any drink you like. All the staff were amazing, especially as we had limited German language and we're very happy to help. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We have also previously done the brewery tour which was very informative and our guide was fantastic. The area surrounding the brewery is beautiful as well and has some wonderful views. Needless to say we love it here. And the beer if wonderful too!

Pleasant, attentive staff. Had no issues with me bringing my dog in with me. I had the daily menu, with a few tasters of beer. The duck was tender, the Brussel sprouts were good, and the soup was creamy.

The best beer in the blackforest. In the shop you can buy many other products besides beer. But the guided tour ist only in German and there is no producing on sunday, we couldnt see the machines in operation. It was a little bit boring.
